Not that it matters to me or is anything to do with me, but his dickness is what makes me not want him. He is a good player, when on it.He’s a twat but he’s no ‘poor man’s Eriksen’ at all.

Footballer's friend cleared of GBH
Nathan Cadby claimed he hit a stranger in self-defence while out with Leicester City's James Maddison in 2016.www.bbc.co.uk
Hopefully has matured but seems to have been a prize bellend in his early career.
Looks like he's got one eye on another deal.![]()
this guy sold lukaku for 100 M to chelsea and the next year took him back for 10M
He’s a cunt who is a very good player. You’re letting your hatred cloud your judgement to be honest.
His eyes are like a couple of football matches......one at home, one away...![]()

This all sounds logical and reasonable.
Until you realise that teams with no more money than Spurs outspent Spurs most years.
For a large portion of the 00's you'd say only Chelsea and Man United should have had the power to comprehensively outspend Spurs. The rest of the league didn't have the power of United or the wealth of Chelsea. The Emptycrates didn't open until 2006 and actually hindered Woolwich and yet they completely outspent us and continue to do so most seasons.
The simple fact of the matter is, some teams speculated to accumulate and some ran the team like a business, trying to increase income to subsequently increase spending.
We fell into the latter and, as a result, had a very, vey slow climb. Teams like the rich clubs, Woolwich, Liverpool to some degree gambled by spending the money to elevate themselves as quickly as possible or where there was an opportunity.
What I'm willing to say is that what is done is done and no amount of internet bitching changes it.
If the leopard has changed it's spots and keeps the new ones then this place should be better for everyone.
Not really.
Sounds as if we think we can get a top cb target next summer, hence the Lenglet loan.
We won’t be signing another cb this year so move on.
Maybe…just my opinion though.I wouldn't rule it out this summer - teams attitudes change towards the end of the window and players that were not easily available early in the summer might be more so then.
All true but it suddenly makes ahuge difference that th e penny has finally dropped with Levy and instead of you buy with funds we get from sale to here is cash use it as you see fit and I wont interfere. One thing to be said is that Paratici is really showing how easy it is to get deals done when you have good forward planning and good industry contacts.
We were really up against it with clowns like Hitchens going around signing N'duds every window and even Poch parroting the club's bullshit stance of 'It's very hard to improve our team'.
Good to have someone in that can actually get us behaving like the top club we apparently aspire to be.
There's a future manager in thereExtremely well spoken and comes off like a really likeable bloke too. Wouldn't mind him at all.
I got a bollocking from my line manager for coming into work hungover as fuck once. His eyes are like a couple of football matches......one at home, one away...
Wait, do you think we spent 15 years saving up to pay cash for it?
He’s nothing like Eriksen apart from the fact he’s an attacking midfielder. Eriksen was always like a conductor, probing and setting tempo, Maddison is more like a Van Der Vaart type affecting things in the final third, playing high risk/high reward type balls. He’s a twat but he’s no ‘poor man’s Eriksen’ at all.

Twice, but close enough :contethumb:And we all know your feelings now thanks, you’ve literally said it 10,809,566 times!![]()
Not our problem, buying club pay agentsIn terms of selling GLC & Reguilon, I note both now have "super agent" Kia Joorabchian hawking them around.
Joorabchian will be trying to get them a move to a "big club", and he does seem to have contacts & influence. The downside is self-styled super agents tend to demand bigger slices of the financial pie than mere mortals.....

If only.
And therefore insist on a lower fee.
So if we get Spence which appears to be likely now according to reports, and we get Maddison, and a new CB... jeesh, it's like what 8/9 players?
