Transfers Summer 2022 Transfer Thread.

We certainly have not won the window.
Still no creative midfielder which we have cried out for since Eriksen left.
Still no elite CB which we were told we were going to get this summer.
And of the one we we have signed the only one I’m truly excited about is Bissouma. And potentially Spence.
Reminds me a tad of the Jose season when everyone was ranking us 10/10 - but in reality it was another failure. I called that out at the time.
Would be thrilled if I was wrong.

Who said we were going to get an "elite" CB?

From what I saw last season or at least since Conte came in, was Romero become possibly the second best CB in the Premier League, Dier have his best season, and Davies playing at his best as well.

We have what i think is a great signing in Lenglet, and although it was a friendly looked totally at home behind Perisic.

We finished second highest goal scorer's in the PL from January, and though we haven't brought in an AM yet there is still plenty of time, and as for Eriksen he did fuck all the last half a season he spent at the club. There is little proof that he has been missed to the extent that many in here think, especially when you add the contribution of Kulu and the Kane/Son combination.

Jesus is much better and cheaper than our Brazilian acquisition.

Their Ukrainian acquisition is better than ours in the same position.

Objectively there is one man who has a choice between Richarlson & Jesus, the Brazil NT manager - he chooses our guy.

Objectively Zinchenko has no real experience as a CM in the PL, which is where Woolwich are planning to use him, what have you seen of him to make the call that he is better than Bissouma/Bentancur or Hojbjerg?
