Yes I was checking the thread so removed the ignore as there are quite a few on it.
As for facts there was none presented to me as fact sometimes you believe you are the Oracle believing in your hype that you are always right...... Luckily I'm too old and too tough minded to fall for your nonsense despite your attempts to try to get the last word in.

:dawsonlol:

LOL.... Cool story bro.

Still replying. ;)

People suddenly calling Cucurella for CB now is SO bogus.....

Literally no-one said they wanted him here as a CB before the Chavs started sniffing around him.

53m quid for a makeshift CB? ......Fuck off, you absolute shit-housers!
Yeah. I'd have preffered him over Peresic as a left wing back purely on age but at 5 ft 9 he's hardly going to help our weakness from crosses as a LCB.

So, do you honestly think we will sign another player? I’m not talking the Udinese lad by the way, who’s being loaned back. I just can’t see us signing anybody else now and have thought this for a while that Spence is our final signing. Just wondering why people are so convinced we are definitely bringing 1 or 2 more in? Have I missed something?
You're far too pessimistic on this point, not that we'll definitely make groundbreaking signings but there's every chance we sign another one or two this window. Makes sense not to bring in more until we shift a few we don't want.

Would be very selective to say that spending €20m plus on a highly rated young player doesn't count as a signing just because we loan him back. We have fairly strong links to Zaniolo the last few weeks who fills an area of need as RW rotation, especially if the coach doesn't want an attacking mid in the Maddison/Eriksen mould. Also seems to be a decent chance we go for another CB if Tanganga was to leave, as reported by Al Gold and the Athletic in previous weeks.

Not sure why we're still in such a negative mindset... we've shown very little reluctance to bring in players over the last few years.

Spot on!

Most of us aren't..... Just the trauma hounds.

Thankfully their numbers are dwindling and the remaining few are just being exposed for what they have been all along.

Amazing that anyone would fall for it but some of the posters over there sound very odd so guess it fits.

to be fair he only said "interest" and that it would take 80 to 90 million. Im sure most big clubs are keeping an eye on him and so it's probably no big secret, nor do i believe Dortmund would turn down 90 million, and i dont think Spurs wouldn't pay that either.
So If a few crazies get over excited by that snipet then that's on them and not so much Dragon.

Anyway could always throw Brum a few million for his brother and loan him back for a couple seasons, seems they rate him also

I don't buy into this bullshit peddled about players being available.
Its lazy and it's nonsense.
The transfer market has always been about the powerful clubs identifying a player and using their financial muscle to unsettle and land their target. Available or Not
They don't wait for a player to be made available or put on the market
It's a bit difficult to unsettle a player who has the club badge tattooed on his body as was the case with Bastoni.

BVB turned down similar money for Sancho in the summer before last when the timing and size of Utds bid didn't suit them, so why not?

Arguably Bellingham has the bringer future.

Go away to some ice hockey forum or something. We don't want you here

We just shed one curling devotee.... Please don't tell me we got another on our hands. :contesmell:

He would almost certainly reject us even if we were willing to pay the fee. Liverpool have made it abundantly clear they want him next season & at his age he's in no rush to go anywhere. A player like Bellingham ends up at one of the biggest clubs in the world.

I think all this story has done is drive interest up on a site where it's a fairly slow news day.
There really is nothing to see here because I agree we are not paying around 90m for him or anyone.

In Liverpool's position they'd have done well to lock in some 'buy & loan-back' deal by now; be it last summer or this.

Who knows what could change by the time BVB 'officially' put him on the market.

is it likely we've been working on the Destiny signing for quite sometime, and a loan back for the season was the deciding factor which we knew early on? Is this perhaps why we signed Langlet on a season long loan, to give us cover until our preferred target joins?

Like how City got Kane last year, and how Chelsea got Modric in 2011.

Levy you bastard!
