I don’t know what you were watching today but at no point did I think that Traore would solve or improve anything on our right wing.

He’s a worse crosser than Emerson. And I don’t believe in this mystic ability where he “pulls” defenders towards him because he’s so imposing, in turn creating space elsewhere on the pitch. Which mind you did not happen today.

For all his size we even saw Sess outmuscle him once or twice.

He would cost a bomb though, probably £50m at least. Agree he is fantastic.

For me CB is the priority though, I would love us after all the loans and sales to throw £60-70m at Skriniar and just have a monster defence, I feel the defence with the likes of Dier is an injury or two away from issues but Skriniar would upgrade us to arguably the best defence in the league when fully fit.

skriniar is on last year of deal and inter want 60 plus for him, he is world class but no way would it be a good deal to pay that, i thought kilman looked good too, would be cheaper, in fact we could buy booth neves and kilman combined for only 20 more then skriniar and the thing with kilman is he is left footed and with lenglet on loan we need one

I'm not fussed by names. We need another CB.

Skriniar though is absolute world class, Rudiger or Van Dijk level, Kilman is good but to have a back line of Romero, Skriniar and if Lenglet finds himself would be top draw with very decent back up.

It’s a lot of money but I feel he is the type of player to be the difference in the biggest games, he can also play RCB, CB and LCB so like Richarlison would be a flexible signing.

cant see us doing it, levy would never sanction that on a last yr deal player, our chance was when we didnt pay tthe extra 10 m too get him a few seasons back
 
I mean the fantasy end to the window is Skriniar, Neves and Maddison but that is like £150m plus.

It’s more likely to be the Ukrainian player in Italy, Milenkovic or another decentish CB and a signing out the blue.
