I have no idea if I'm honest.

It's very hard to articulate and in terms of a player I couldn't say.

We can't buy better than Kane, we won't get a better defender than Romero. Lloris is pretty much as good as anyone. Son will reignite and Richarlison fizzes.

Kulusevski is doing what we have lacked since Eriksen and is like a mix of Berbatov and Bale.

So maybe it's central midfield but we won't get better for now and neither am I sure that's the answer.

I simply believe that if we don't buy that added whatever that we will regret it.

Make sense of that if you can.
We're yet to see Bissouma do Bissouma though. I really believe once he's up to speed our midfield is going to be a better place.

I'm gonna make a bold statement and it's gonna annoy the fuck out of people.

If we did a last minute ditch move for Traore, I think fans will warm to him quite quickly.
By fans, I mean those of you who actually watch 90 minutes of football and not check stats and final scores.

I think you're right

That is a bold statement and will annoy a lot of people

Being what?

Appreciate you're no more of a scout than I am. But I'm struggling to see who we can actually sign that improves us now. When you're saying Je ne Sais Qoui, I assume you mean from a forward point of view, IE attacking flair etc?
I totally believe Conte does not want a specialist AM and won't change the front 3 to accommodate one.

We are not, never have been, and never will be interested in signing Traore.

Can we please stop regurgitating the click bait bollocks put out by no nothing numpties.

FUCK!!!

Winks waiting for Italy visa

Harry Winks is waiting to be granted a visa before travelling to Italy to complete a loan move from Tottenham to Sampdoria.
The transfer is fully agreed between player and clubs and is expected to be completed within 24 hours pending that visa and a medical.

Look for as much as I’m looking forward to a reveal video of him ripping off his wolves shirt to reveal a spurs one below it, while then cutting to him bench pressing Kane, my worry would be well be watching 90min of football to see him come on for the last 30 min and do nothing of note.

If he does sign for us I’ll support him, but he’s not really a signing that’s getting me all excited.

I would steer clear of him mate if we want a bodybuilder in the team just go to the local gym and hire one cheaper and with the same output.

I don't know why so many people are hung up on his appearance. It really shouldn't matter. There are times when our team is begging for a player who can run the ball up the pitch. Those players are not as common as people think. He's been coached by Nuno and Lage for years. The minor spell where he had Xavi as a coach yeilded outcomes we've not seen for Wolves. He scored goals, got assists and affected play.

Don't get me wrong. I want all the shiney new good things as much as the next fan. But I don't get envious because other teams have spent more. Most of the teams that spent more than us finished behind us. Of the 3 teams ahead of us, Chelsea are the only ones to spend more and they lost a 2 strikers, 2 CB's and a few midfielders. We haven't "lost" anyone.

Just got to trust Conte’s judgment. If he sees something in Traore beyond the brawn then I’m happy.
Personally I don’t yet see anything in the fella that screams “class” to me. He’s big and he’s quick. He has poor control and can’t cross a ball.
It’s telling that Barcelona fucked him back off to Wolves.
But we’ve got to trust the manager on this and get behind the player if we sign him.

Wouldn't mind Adama, I know he's not everyone's cup of tea and the stats don't do him any favours but putting that aside I think he'd work well as an impact player and he is certainly a player that draws like three players to him which would open up space for others. He's also exciting to watch and other teams hate playing against him.

Having said all that we probably won't sign him anyway.

But what is "nothing of note"
If you're literally talking directly attributable stats then maybe. Goals/assists may not be eye catching like, say Kulu.
But if statistically much of our game to that point has been played in our 3rd because no one can keep a hold of the ball, and every attempt to go long comes back at us, a player of his type could change that on its head. He can drive not only the ball, but the entire team 30-40 yards further up the pitch and keep doing it. We have other forwards who can pick up the pieces when he gets there. There aren't stats that demonstrate that.
I bet every anti-Traore Spurs fan on here, clenched their arsehole shut as soon as he came on the other week.

Barcelona were broke when they took him on loan.
They've since gone batshit mental. Lewi, Raphinha wages and fees must be huge and they're still struggling to even register players right now

To me, the obvious improvement is a right sided CB capable of challenging Sanchez and Romero. Conte doesn't have the same leverage with those players that he does with the forward line and the midfield. He's going to look pretty stupid if he says "If you two don't buck your ideas up, I'll play Tanganga instead!".

The club's statement about keeping Tanganga for this window seems to rule out a signing of this nature, though.

I truly believe that when Conte said"we can't afford any more mistakes in the transfer market" he was referring to this sort of a signing.

A lot of money wasted on bang average players, instead of waiting for the right deals to come along.

The amount of deadwood we are trying to shift now is proof of that.
We are not going to buy someone for the sake of buying someone.

And Traore is the definition of a buying for the sake of it player.
