So rationally speaking I was quite sure that nothing happens today...

But part of me was still ... BUUUUT MAAYYBEEEE...

Now this latter part is dying.
We have done lot of good business, but I still feel that there is not enough ball-playing ability in our CM.
And there is not enough depth in CB - if we really could have found buyer for Tanganga for anything close to this 20 mil EUR then... yea... he himself does not give me much confidence.

If now really Gil and Sarr will be remaining, I very much hope we can actually see them on the field as well.

So yea, not assuming anything (inbound) to happen today.
But 1% of me be still hoping for a nice surprise (reasonable deal for Gordon, hijacking Diaz deal from Blackburn, Malinovsky getting over the line, Ndicka be brought in as upgrade on Tanganga)...

No it's not whataboutary it's a valid critique of what looks like hypocrisy. Oh and how regularly a person posts means nothing to me. Conversations are like that some people are garrulous others are not. Offering badges or merits for regularly posting seems very silly to me. It's frankly an odd suggestion.

They're both the same player. Limited technically, heavily reliant on pace. Sarr in particular is a terrible finisher. There's a reason Watford fans are happy to get rid.

I think when most on here refer to Sarr they are talking about the midfielder we signed from Metz.

Between Doherty and Royal, Doherty was clear de best player for this system last season, some of our brighter matches came with him as RWB, no wonder as he's very good attacking. Then he got injured and Conte used Royal, we played this same shit football we are playing now but got results, so I think Conte is rewarding him for what the team has done, but he clearly is costing us in the final third, there's no way we will play good football in this tactics with someone so shit going forward and for me this is the worst mistake Conte is doing. Spence may be turn good, we don't know nothing. Lucas shouldn't even be considered, he's no RWB.

Surely this whole James to Spurs story has been one big, elaborate hoax? I refuse to believe that we wanted him yet lost out to Fulham?

I didn't want us to sign him anyway, so this isn't an attempt at coping on my part, but it was such a bizarre link in the first place, and surely if we wanted him, Leeds were happy to let him go, and Fulham were our competition for his signature, then he would have been ours?

So the only logical conclusion is that it was a total fabrication.

Agreed. Sounds like something Leeds was leaving to put pressure on Fulham to up their offer.
