Now that we've moved on the unwanted players (Ndombele, Lo Celso, Winks, Reguilón, etc.) I must admit that our squad is feeling a little lightweight.
All the reasonable of us realized that this revamping process would take several windows, but it does seem like there should be some emphasis on winning now, whilst we still have a peak Kane + Son.

How we rating this window then?
Most of us still of the view that “well how can we improve these positions? There’s no one available?”
Funny how other teams - our competitors - identify targets, then sign them. We are incapable of that.
We haven’t addressed CB (x 2), RWB, CM, nor the lack of creativity.
Man City, Man Utd, Woolwich, Chelsea have signed players to improve their first teams. We aren’t able to do that because “no one’s available”.
Another pathetic window. Another window where we have been out spent by almost 50% of the league.
So much for backing Conte.
Our defensive transfers: a player who isn’t here, a player who can’t make the squad, a player on loan who has been dreadful for 24 months and who’s parent club want shot of him; and a (granted, talented) wing back who we got on a free but who we will get a max of 2 years out of. And we still have Dier, Davies, Sanchez starting games. It’s astonishing.

Entitled to your wrong (imo) opinion but...

Window as it stands = 7.5 / 10

Would have liked to have seen another CB and Forward but I'm very happy with the business we've done (both incomings and outgoings).
yeh I'd say 7 is about right.

Very happy with Bissouma, Perisic and Richarlison who were my first choice options for their respective positions.

Spence I'm happy with but ideally I wanted both Emerson and Doherty flogged with Spence competing with another RWB.

Udogie looks promising.

Lenglet I don't rate and would have loved a better CB.

I think not getting much money for outgoings was slightly alarming and confusing tbh.
The better CB would have probably pushed it to a 8 and another RWB in addition to Spence would have pushed it to a 9.

Understand where you're coming from - I'm prepared to see what Lenglet has to offer before rating/not rating him though, but of course based on his form in Barcelona, I get your view.

Our first XI and second XI as things stand:

Lloris, Royal, Romero, Dier, Davies, Perisic, Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Kulusevski, Son, Kane

Forster, Doherty, Sanchez, Tanganga, Lenglet, Sessegnon, Skipp, Bissouma, Lucas, Gil, Richarlison

Spence and Sarr added to the 24.

We have depth, options and a dozen of those under 26. We are in a far better position than many realise and have more than enough to challenge for top 3 or 4 in the league, to push for a cup and to have a great Champions League run. From this time a year ago I doubt there is anyone that wouldn't be delighted with that being the case.

1st window seems done. Get behind the boys, the gaffer said 2 more windows required so let's focus on each game at a time and knowing we have more genuine depth than most teams in the league do in a season where depth will be crucial.

Not bothered if we don't get someone else in.

If we got Richarlison and Bissouma this week instead, I am sure peoples opinions on the window would be different. But it is what it is.

We've improved our team. 3rd in the league. Unbeaten. Second best defensive record in the league. Fourth best attack in the league.

COME ON YOU SPURS
