Between Jackson and Kean they are believe it or not our best striking options.

People are now facing up to the reality of the striker market being absolutely on it's knees :D

If only we could find a decent young striker from the championship looking for his next chance to be Harry Kane.

Even better if we already had him on the books

As an aside, there's no way Solanke/Richarlison are worse than Jackson/Kean

What we go to them for is up for debate though...

Wrestling porn for GOAT GOAT isn't it?

It hasn't been disclosed why Ayto was sacked/left his role at Brighton.

No reason given, and it would be odd if they sacked him at the start of a window (although they also have a Technical Director who will oversee transfers this window) so doesn't look like a sacking.

Could be a headhunt with club he's going to paying compensation - and hence no gardening leave. That seems to fit the few facts we have best

Jacksons a great player, great at link up and with his back to goal. His biggest problem is that he misses chances but tbh even the fact he's getting those chances is proof of how good a striker he is. Still only 25 this Summer. His biggest weaknesses are coachable. He'd be a great signing imo.

As someone fairly new to this site. Are there any people here who come under the term, "ITK?" people who get good, reliable inside knowledge?..(just interested,if there is someone i need to look out for, post wise). Or is ITK just guesswork/personal opinions?..

There are probably no Spurs ITK's left - last one probably JJSet who last operated about 10 years ago or maybe 'The Lion' for about one window forecasting Ndombele and co in 2019.

But everyone on Twitter calls themselves ITK ever since

Temperament needs working on as well.

I dunno but I saw this on a Brighton website;

When Jason Ayto was appointed Brighton sporting director, it was reported one of his first tasks and overriding priorities would be to work on a new contract for Jan Paul van Hecke.

So far, not so good. Same story with Kaoru Mitoma. Both Van Hecke and Mitoma are about to enter the final 12 months of their existing deals.

The pair are therefore available for a potential cut-price fee this summer. If Brighton do not sell, they risk both leaving for free in 2027.

Adam Webster and Solly March are already leaving with their deals expiring. Joel Veltman is out of contract with no word on any progress towards keeping him. James Milner has retired.

The only players to have penned new deals since Ayto arrived at Brighton are Jack Hinshelwood and Jason Steele.

Jackson was really good his last season here but his game is similar to solanke. Unless Solanke goes we’d need someone who can run in behind and is more direct and tries to stretch the opposition.
