You would get another 50m for Micky, 20m for Spence, 20m for Udogie, 20m for Vicario, 40m for Kudus, 50m for Simons, 40m for Gray, 50m for Bergvall, 30m for Solanke and 20m for Richy. I've probably missed some out here too but relegation means only the following survive. Austin, Kinsky, Souza, Odobert plus Academy, that is all.
Why do you think we would do that? Gray and Bergvall are both under contract until 2030. Why would we have to sell them?
Why would we do that.. Romero and Micky plug a few holes in the financial mess. 2 loan players would go although Palhinha would suit the champ. . Biss and Ben contracts up. Vic going back to Italy. Richy also as would be in last season of contract.
That’s 8 players with over 100m coming in. We don’t know how true the drop in wages would be even if it applies to them all, which I don’t think it does.

Vuskovic is going to be a star at the World Cup. He isn't playing Championship football. The drop in revenue is 300m. We will need to patch that and player sales and reduced wage bill is the only way to achieve that.

If we do stay up, I’d love to see us go for Locatelli. De Zerbi signed him and had him for a few years at Sassuolo. He’d transform our midfield in the way that Tonali & Guimaraes have for Newcastle.

He was booked towards the end of the game for smashing Endrick. It was a daft foul. One that he probably felt he had to make to stop a fast break. But I understand his thinking. Ball can go past you or the player can go past you, but never both. That was his final act as I think the Croatia manager made the decision to sub him straight away so hardly hooked for being poor.
Brazil scored 2 goals with him off the field which tells me he is likely to be one of the first names on their team sheet.
