The rumours that I have read is that the player's mother (also agent) is demanding that Brentford also buy his older brother who plays for Cologne's reserves.

I’m told that if Spurs are unable to secure their desired fee for Cristian Romero this summer, the club would be very open to exploring what would effectively be a ‘part-exchange’ arrangement, provided the interested club can offer a player who fits Tottenham’s recruitment criteria.Such a structure could, in theory, widen the pool of potential suitors for Romero, with Spurs prepared to consider player-plus-cash proposals rather than insisting on a straight cash sale. Spurs mean business this window!

Whenever someone starts getting really wordy you know they're just making shit up. Reeks of a fradulent little teenage neek trying to sound clever when they're making up their fake rumours to get followers.

The guys that are genuinely ITK are usually relatable blokes who are capable of, y'know, networking and connecting with people in the game. They communicate online like average people and certainly don't say shit like "such a structure could, in theory, widen the pool of potential suitors for Romero".

This bloke is 100% fraudulent wankstain with zero connections.

Maradona in relative terms would be worth about £300 million in today's transfer market.

Seeing how he basically went on to win Napoli Serie A & Argentina the World Cup by himself.
it's not easy to work out what Napoli's revenue would have been in 1984 as it's not publicly tracked, but by and large I think it's safe to say clubs were almost entirely reliant on ticket sales and merchandise for revenue at that point, TV money wasn't a thing until the 90s, I don't think it's absurd to say that it could be well in excess of £300m even when adjusting up to the monopoly money involved in the Neymar transfer given howe much larger a % of the revenue of even the richest club in the world £7m would have been at the time. I still don't think it's really possible to track as so many modern transfers have been essentially financed externally, I think we would only really be breaking the £100m mark a few years ago if PSG hadn't completely fucked the market. I do think it's a bubble that has to burst eventually, it simply can't be sustainable for clubs to take such colossal financial losses on singular players when they are being held accountable for where their financng comes froum.

He's an AM. Especially in a 4231 (RDZ).

We need proper midfielders. Press resistant, able to pass the ball. Able to progress the ball. With good athletic ability. At least one of them needs to be v.good without the ball, both being good would be nice. If we are thinking of buying Wharton (mistake IMO) then we need to buy someone who is an absolute monster busy cunt at hunting and gathering.
