WHEREAS During the term of this Agreement you will becomeand remain, at your sole cost and expense and at our request, a memberin good standing of any then properly designated labor unions, guilds, or other organizations,as defined and determined under the applicable law, pertaining persons performing services of the type andthe character to be performed here and hereunder. Nothing herein contained shall be deemed to require the violationof any written agreement executed between us and any such labor union, guild or other organization which may be in effect atthe time of the execution of this agreement, and wherever there is any conflict between the provisions of this agreement and any other, thelatter shall prevail, but in such event, the provisions of this agreement so affected shall be curtailed and limited only to the events necessary to permitcompliance with such payment of any additional compensation it shall be at the minimum that is permitted thereunder.
WHEREAS to the extent that payment hereunder exceeds applicable guild minimums such excess to the fullestextent permitted by any applicable guild agreement, shall be credited by us against any additional payment that may have to be made pursuantto said guild agreement and shall be applied as payment for any additional rights that can be required for such payment. big Question is he more like Ibrahima Konaté or Dayot Upamecano as both of these had similar hype .

and i know Upamecano had a couple of bad seasons where he was heavily criticised for (Upamecano was frequently slammed by pundits like Didi Hamann for being "extremely inconsistent") , i think that was maybe 2 or 3 seasons ago now Under manager Vincent Kompany, he has been lauded as one of the best center-backs in the world.

By the end of his term he was persuading Levy that the squad was now older and needed a good refresh - first of which was Bentancur and Kulusevski in Jan 2022 with Mourhino leaving in April 2022 (although Jose also asked for Hojbjerg just after he joined).
Levy would not have allowed those signings without Mourhino asking
The time to do this move was during the winter xfer window. Now, if we are relegated it doesn't make sense, and if we stay up we'll aim to do better.
We signed those 2 Juve boys under Conte, not Mourinho.
