I think that if we stay up then both vdv and romero will stay. I think for the good of both parties romero should leave but feel RDZ will feel he can serve a purpose in the type of teams he wants to build and put him right.

I think IF we manage to stay up then its quality over quantity. 100% a quality left winger, and cm, striker and gk

That will leave us a little short and potentially weak in certain areas but we have alot of bodies to cut from this squad and no Europe.

Vicario, dragusin, sarr, bissouma, richy, spence need to leave for various reasons imo and kolo and palhinha loans ended without signing them. Thats 8 out and we need 4 in
Not sure i want romero. Treats us like a holiday camp.

Pre De Zerbi I wouldn't have touched Palhinha but the guy is a different beast now and I think a season or 2 of him with de zerbi is smart

I do agree with this to an extent although i did say id let him go a couple of pages back

My thinking behind it was that I think we are sorely lacking something in cm to become anything more than decent. Don't get me wrong being decent would be good progress from where we have been the past 18 months but something has to give to go get that player we are lacking, especially with no Europe.

If we say we are to 100% keep palhinha, bentancur, bergvall, gray and Gallagher thats already 5 for 2 positions. I think Gallagher does suit advanced cm/10 role so we could take him off.

For sure it must be in RDZ thinking that we need a real playmaker/passer in there. Somebody to really pull strings and orchestrate. Seems unlikely but Wharton would be perfect paired with bents and Gallagher.

Been on my sick bed thinking about next season's squad.

Feel the below is absolutely achievable with ambition and De Zerbi influence.

GK - Trafford, Kinsky, Austin
RB - Porro, Spence
CB - Vuskovic, Van de Ven, Danso, Marcos Senesi
LB - Udogie, Andrew Robertson

DM - Pahlinha, Gray (loan out - Leeds?), Nico Gonzalez
CM - Bergvall (loan out - RB Liepzig?), Bentancur, Gallagher, Kulusevski

AM - Maddison, Xavi, Franco Mastantuono (2 year loan)

RW - Kudus, Odobert
LW - Marcus Rashford, Tel, Moore

ST - Richarlison, Lankshear

---------------Trafford---------------------
Porro--Vuskovic--Van de Ven--Udogie
----------------Gonzalez------------------
------Maddison------Mastantuono-----
Kudus---------------------------Rashford
--------------Richarlison------------------

Sub options:

Kinsky, Austin, Danso, Senesi, Robertson, Pahlinha, Bentancur, Gallagher, Kulusevski, Odobert, Moore, Lankshear, Tel

Kudus, Maddison and Mastantuno feeding Richarlison and Rashford via De Zerbi ball...Magnifique!

Also think De Zerbi can get Pedro Porro back to his old self.

Could be a fluid 4-1-4-1 or 4-2-3-1, the way De Zerbi plays.

When Udogie inevitably gets injured, push VdV to LB and utilise Senesi.

Can we sign a brand new medical department as well?
Doesn't matter if we sign prime Bale, if he is out injured he wouldn't do fuck all, once we sort out the route cause of all these injuries we can start becoming a serious club again!

Daniel Levy's bald head had mystical healing powers when stroked

We won't be able to solve our crippling injury crisis until he is brought back into the fold

Can't see Real loaning us Mastantuono for 2 seasons, especially since he is starting to break into the first team
Gonzalez has been vital for City this season and with Rodri rumoured to be heading back to Spain he will be even more vital next season.
Rashford is a big no. We shouldn't be entertaining him one bit.

Please no more Richarlison

It's difficult to know, not only because we don't know what division yet, but it also depends a lot on which players are available, good enough, affordable, and want to join Spurs.

That being said, I wonder what the appetite is of the owners now. Will they be signing players to make sure we don't go near the relegation zone again, or will they be signing players to aim for top 4. Utd had a massive turnaround, eventually, from last season to this, and they bought some top players. Do we have the appetite to do the same, or will our owners just want to avoid another shock (if we stay up)?

The one thing that definitely encourages me is RDZ. He just has something about him (unlike Frank) and his former players speak highly of him. With such a respected manager, that in itself will have pulling power.

Now it's up to the club to show their ambition.
