It’s nothing to do with free and ENIC. If he signs it’s because he is still decent but brings experience of winning and leadership.

You don’t need to pack a Squad with World Beaters. Henderson and Milner have added real value to their teams this year as they are pros who keep everyone else going when times are hard. We have literally only had Palhinha standing up and being counted in those situations until recently.

Gallagher, Palhinha, Robertson are what you need to turn Gray, Bergvall, Vuskovic into a team.
Same type of posters would turn down Danny Welbeck, Granit Xhaka, Chris Wood etc.

Senesi is fantastic.

For free, it is an absolute worldie of a deal.

Robertson is Conor Gallagher in a LB.
My only concern with these two free signings (not really free when you see the extortionate wages we are offering them that no other club was willing to pay), is that it feels like a case of quantity over quality. I assume Senesi is just going to be a replacement for whichever we sell our of Romero or VDV so that is debatably a downgrade. Robertson is a replacement for Davies which is a huge squad upgrade but is he a definite starter over Udogie next season? I'm not sure so can't really call either of them signings an upgrade to our starting team.

If we go and upgrade our midfield and attack options with proper signings who walk into our team then great. But I hope this doesn't become our new approach where we are just looking for free agents and not buy the best players on the market. Especially now that we are willing to pay big wages for a change. Will we be looking to sign Gabriel Jesus or Trossard on a free instead of signing Ndiaye or Kroupi? Will we try get Casimero on a free instead of signing Wharton or Scott?

We need quality and not quantity so hopefully these 2 signings are just two shrewd plug gaps and that our next few signings are clear upgrades and not just more squad players.

Senesi is the Dragusin upgrade.

Vuskovic is the Romero upgrade.

VdV is staying.

Senesi is a better PL CB than Romero and VDV. How is it a downgrade?

Were not going to look to play 2 left footed centre backs in a back 4. Its pretty clear vuskovic is romero replacement, senesi is understudy to vdv unless we line up in a back 3.

Robertson and udodgie the LBs, Porro and spence RBs, Vuskovic, VDV, Danso and Senesi CBs. Think that will be us done in defence and will look to spend big on the midfield and attack.

Yeah if that is the plan and we do see notable upgrades in midfield and attack then great. Good business. All makes sense.

We just need to see them notable upgrades further up the pitch and not anymore squad players joining in. Until we see that then I will continue to be a bit sceptical. I remember raising similar points last year when we offered Ben Davies an extension and was met by the same chorus of positivity by people who so genuinely sure we were still going to sign another left back or left centre back. We failed to get Hincaipe and then just decided Ben was the man.

Priority numero uno has to be a centre forward, and they dont come cheap considering most teams only play with one these days.

Remember when we had Keane, Defoe, Bent and Berbatov on the books? lol
Hackney from Borough, Lecroix from Crystal Palace, Toney from Shiek ya bootie, Adeyemi, Dortmund, Fernandes, West Ham, Alex Scott, Bournemouth, Baleba, Brighton. Purvis , AC Milan, Keely Luton. A few names think improve us.

A number of Woolwich stars reportedly bumped into other Premier League players who were also enjoying nights out after the final day of a remarkable season.

From there, the celebrations moved on to Tape nightclub, one of London’s most exclusive venues, where some Woolwich stars crossed paths with Tottenham players also enjoying the end of the campaign.
Despite the fierce rivalry between the two North London clubs, SunSport was told both sets of players partied together into the early hours of the Bank Holiday morning.
