Transfers Summer 2026 Transfer Thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Name for striker that I haven't seen here is Pavlidis from Benfica. Scored 30 goals for Benfica in each of the last two seasons and 33 for AZ in 23/24. Big strong dude who's a good finisher and good passer. With the lack of good striker options, he'd be someone we could get for like £35m or so.

Not that keen on him...

Got me all excited it was Diouf then.

Will he be fit at the start of the season? Missing the World Cup and so must be a doubt.
10 weeks between the start of the world cup and season, so if he's out for 8 months with a hammy, alarm bells. Ideally I'd like to upgrade, but that's pretty far down the priority order. I can't see Roberto suffering his head down, slow everything up approach for too long though.

Frankie De Jong from Barca might be worth a look. Doesn't really get a game for them and would definitely improve our midfield. Not sure if he's had injury issues though. Might be gettable for about 40-50mil.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
£40 million. Are you serious? That’s what Brennan Johnson cost. The guy is on about £300k now and that’s a cut from the £700 k a week In deferred wages he was earning due to the shit show Barca was a few years ago and you don’t have a look at a player of his quality. He could pretty much pick where he wants to go. Frenkie De Jong will never be a Tottenham player. We are so far away from being able to attract that quality. I’m out of this thread as it’s just getting stupid far too early.

They can afford those wages because they almost never spend money on transfers. They've only spent €51m on transfers in the last six years, so they can afford to pay all their players a ton to keep them from leaving.
Yeah they only sign Basque nationals or Basque Country home-grown players, so they're kinda limited in their options and tend to pay massive wages to retain local talent.

Mentioned him a while back, he's a proven goalscorer not only in the Dutch / Portugese Leagues but also in the Champions League and at International level.

I think we could do a lot worse.
