Agree, don’t know why he doesn’t play more at City. Quality wise he’s not some fringe player. They always look much better when he’s on the pitch. He would be the player to pay that much, not Rashford of Oshimen. Would be very hard to get him out of City imo unless they get fucked with those charges which they should do hopefully

He was quality for Barca though, reason why they are reluctant to sign him is purely financial.
I personally don't think he'd enjoy it as much in England anyway, he was clearly having fun out in Spain and looked refreshed, I can see him going into his old habits and the media doung their usual hatchet job on him.
I’m not against Rashford now because he’s looked good at Barca.
I was when he was in the prem and obviously never doing the out of possession work to press.
It’s definitely easier to look good for Barca though.

Savio is talented but is now looking like a tease at premier league level. We’re exactly the type of club that has to take punts on teases but if he’s our only wide player signed that’s a huge MEH.
Summerville feels very similar to Savio tbh. Rated him at Leeds but he would have been signed in the Odobert/Tel squad places and we need an elite wide player now.
Marmoush as a CF, is the only link I’ve that would make me confident in improving us straight away
De Zerbi wants Rashford, not Lange/Vinai pushing it on him. That's good enough for me.

A noteworthy bit of context is that this kid has been managed for the last few years by the same manager that made Ndombele look like a record purchase for us.
We need to scout this kids behaviour and professionalism deeply.
If he wants him then we should back him - we need to back our managers more. But I highly suspect it's a deal that will come back to bite us squarely on the arse if we push it through. Can very much see it being another Adebayor-type situation if RDZ leaves within a year or two.
That said, like Abebayor, when Rashford's good he's very good so I reckon we'd at least get a decent season out of him while Roberto's here.
He's still got some time on his United contract right so maybe we could swing a loan?
That might be the best compromise, especially while half our forwards are injured.
I just worry about Rashford's motivation in general. He was so up and down at United - he was basically good every alternate season depending on the manager or his general mood.
Just can't see him being that excited to play for Spurs. Certainly not over a sustained period anyway. Especially following his dream move to Barca not being made permanent.
Nearly all winger options mentions look seriously underwhelming. Hopefully we are not really considering Bahoya. Another french talented winger who does not score and show up regulary. Pass.
