Transfers Summer 2026 Transfer Thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I see we are being linked with Real Betis Moroccan LW on a free - Abde Ezzalzouli - whose stats are 'ok' although not outstanding, came through Barcelona academy.

I doubt if there is much going on with players mostly way on international duty so I expect us to be linked with the few players put forward by agents - but almost ALL clickbait. Frustrating

Free transfer? Not sure about that

About the international duty. We have been linked to some players not at the world cup. Savinho, MGW, Baleba, Scott, Godts

Chavs fans can't wait to get rid

Id be lying if I said Id seen much of them this year, but it looks like he has played a fair bit - so cant be that bad considering the squad they have

Also, Chavs being unhappy doesnt mean anything does it? They are never happy, and as a group of fans are among the least football savvy I can think of

None of which is to say Im particularly keen on him, wasnt especially when we were looking at him from Wolves

If CP are also looking to make a formal move, it would suggest that Wharton may be moved on.

Interesting if true.

Wharton is ripe for sale

Which really will be the CP model at the moment, much like Bournemouth/Brighton etc, its better business to buy low, sell high and reinvest

Ive also said, on Wharton, I personally have real concerns about his ability to perform in other set ups.

Glasner has built that team to suit him perfectly.

New manager coming in, might not manage him as well - might kill his value too

A Marmoush/Rashford type player provides us with more balance in attack. They can cover LW and ST and can also score goals. A player who's more of a runner and can stretch play as a complement to wingers who prefer to take more touches and dribble.

The obvious problem is wages, so getting one of them on loan would be a better idea and seeing what happens from there.
If it were a choice between the two, I'd opt for Marmoush. Works his socks off, which isn't something you can accuse Rashford of doing on the regular.

This would be my list of young/youngish talents I’d like Spurs take a closer look at (not with Lange in-charge, though). And no, I don’t believe all of them are good enough, or will be good enough, for an aspiring top EPL club (like Spurs). And yes, I’ve missed some I am sure.

He never really seemed to track back at Utd.

But Rashford is more of a proven goalscorer and I think we'd be more likely to get him on loan which tbf might be all we need just as an option for us either on the wing or as striker.
