Dutch media picking it up

Feels like the milking it phase before a deal is announced

No deal will be announced until he has his medical and officially signs so we are a long way off......a club to club agreement is not enough to feel confident that wd get the player with other bigger clubs circling for a player of his calibre and cheap price

Get in Van Hecke, Robertson and Senesi

Sell Romero, Dragusin, Phillips

Probably a net profit?

Which would mean any budget we do have can still go to the midfield and attack

Yea I would also like to hope so.

Just that history has made me cautious.

After adding 3 fresh faces to defense... then at some point CEO can come out with the excuse that "we can't bring in too many new players all at once and disrupt the squad balance" or smth like that. Which would ofc be bogus - as disrupting 17th placed team balance is exactly what we should be after!

But yea, as an idea it is entirely possible that from adding and selling the players mentioned we could be 35-40 mil in green and can just use that money on top of regular transfer budget to other positions. Let's hope so!

If there's even the slightest genuine interest from Chavs and Scouse, there's no way this gets wrapped up early. Brighton will try to get a bidding war going - particularly with Chavs involved - as they seem to absolutely love paying top of the market fees when it comes to Brighton.
Good point. Only hope in that scenario is Van Hecke says he only wants Spurs. De Zerbi could be massive factor.

Finishing 17th and we still have a big pull, RDZ will only add to that as well.

A long way to go with Van Hecke and Savinho deals, but both improve us. Add Senesi and Robertson then the depth, quality and experience also shoots up.

Get a progressive passer for CM and a striker capable of scoring 15-20 goals a season then we're in a much better position.

Adam Wharton is the obvious solution but his injury record would give huge concerns. Especially given our own record of turning durable players into injury prone players. Almost feels inevitable that Wharton does his ACL on his first game for us lol

Haha, well maybe you are making wrong conclusion.

Maybe we just flip it? Meaning we turn durable players to injured ones....
Soo...maybe we should try signing injury prone ones and hope they turn durable with us

Just sell Udogie and put mickey on the wing.

Unless Mickey won’t commit to a new deal so getting in the replacements in before both him and Romero go?

I know we are at the rumour stage of the transfer circus, but does feel there is a bit of a shift in the apetite to get some deals done early. Senesi, Robertson and if true Savinho and now van Hecke. All very good players in their own right, and for different reasons.

I truly hope and pray that what they have been saying about this summer window is true. But we all know we've been here before.
