I reckon we'd view him as starting LW and cover for striker, unless Savinho comes as well as doubt we're gonna shell out big on a backup, maybe RDZ sees him as a striker? He does have a good build for it in the PL. Does strike me as pursuing multiple deals for same position and seeing which is easier to strike, don't suspect we end up with both Sav and Gakpo.

A point I’ve made before:
A buyback clause is completely meaningless if the player doesn’t want to return.
Always get a sell-on clause.
You can use a sell-on as a buyback if the player is open to a return.
No reason why we can’t as long as we invest properly in the transfer window and ENIC make up for years of underinvestment. We’ve got a good manager in place to shoot up the league table if he’s backed properly
I think not being in Europe for a season will be a blessing for us, we need to get back on even keel with all these injuries instead of running the same 14 players into the ground twice a week. It gives the manager the chance to implement his ideas on the training ground properly and build a structure and style of play over the season instead of just recovering from games every 3 days.
