I don’t think he was even Fulham’s second best centre back. Ream and Diop are both better defenders.
Ream and Diop performed better then any of our lot last season (so did Tosin).
He's definitely better than everyone we have bar Romero.
Which probably tells you more about the state of our defensive options more than anything. But we still need a first choice.
I think he was about on par with Diop, and even if he wasn't, he's still better than Dier / Tanganga / Davies / Sanchez.
Ream is too old, otherwise I would be OK with him. A defender who wants to defend.
Like I said, that is a massively underwhelming recommendation for him.
I doubt it.

There's been some smoke there, I can see it happening, don't think we'll match Chelsea's price though. He's an average midfielder who's very good in the box, so I don't know how I'd feel about the transfer. He'd be meh overall but he'd get a good amount of goals.

Profile fits are important, I watched us the other day and I saw how much attacking influence our no8's will have in attacking the spaces and also how his teams plan to defend and press from the front, two things Gallagher excels at.
