Awesome. Fee is definitely higher than I thought, I was fairly confident yday it wouldn't be this high. Think he has the tools to be a quality player for us though. Hopefully we can get Tosin in to give us another option that can run and use the ball.

A deal isn't done until contract is signed and preferably player at training ground after medical done and announced by Spurs.

Loads of stories around before then, some by seemingly respectable journalists who are feeding off twitter as their contacts are not telling them anything useful enough to print that day or even posted by idiots who never come out of their basement who like their moment of fame which comes from making up stories.

And then there are deals which are highjacked by other clubs.

So yes, bonkers, just treat it s entertainment before than and by all means try to piece all the stories together but don't get yourself convinced certain players are coming ..... until they are announced.

All I believe is that one week from the beginning of the new season it's unacceptable we still don't have a decent central defender to partner Romero.

So you think it could be that Levy tried to use Tapsoba as a smokescreen to force Wolfsburg into selling VdV.......well it might have backfired because if Wolfsburg were led to believe we were after Tapsoba, a superior defender and more expensive, then they probably thought " wait, if Spurs are chasing Tapsoba it means they have more money than they claim. I know, forget about that 30 mill we have already agreed with Spurs for VdV, let's squeeze more out of them"

Hardy is a legit excellent actor. The others are meh (Craig was ace as the taciturn Bond, though). And Barry? His finest hour was on stage at Skegness Butlins in 1998, performing his seminal hit 'something something, burp.'. It was at this point, I had an out of body experience and decided to sort my life out.

I think we were after Tapsoba and Van de a
ven and we chose van de Ven. Nothing more, nothing less.
