That's orncunt spicing it up because gooner scum spent over 100 on Rice and he's salty.Awesome. Fee is definitely higher than I thought, I was fairly confident yday it wouldn't be this high. Think he has the tools to be a quality player for us though. Hopefully we can get Tosin in to give us another option that can run and use the ball.
Barca are a joke, got him on a free with the intent to sell. That 15m all being a positive for ffp. With wages etc still losing money
Fabrizio Romano broke the story of our interest in Van de Ven.It really fucking annoys me when he obviously reacts to tweets of other people he follows (Ornstein in this case) but doesn't credit them but instead pretends that he got it from his "sources".
But a month ago they allowed the player to come here and show him around the training ground and talk personal terms. A selling club doesn't normally allow that if a price hadn't already been agreed. Back then every ITK and media outlet said the deal was agreed, 30 mill pounds, practically here we go.......now, one month later, we are still negotiating and the price has gone up to 43 mill pounds
Meanwhile we see links to Tapsoba, Guehi. Tosin, Anderson, Buongiorno, Schuurs, Nelson and whoever else
Totally bonkers
I would probably advise you to stop believing every report you see
Depends what you want to believe.
OKeefe doesn't seem to think we were ever interested in Tapsoba and that he always thought the links were odd and it may have been a potential smokescreen.

Hardy is a legit excellent actor. The others are meh (Craig was ace as the taciturn Bond, though). And Barry? His finest hour was on stage at Skegness Butlins in 1998, performing his seminal hit 'something something, burp.'. It was at this point, I had an out of body experience and decided to sort my life out.The phrase is often overused but this is a true British legend
For all the Americans and foreigners on here, forget Idris Elba , Tom Hardy and Daniel Craig.
This guy represents the best of British acting talent, alongside Barry of course

I admire your optimism. But I think it's misplaced. I think Son has just declined and people have too much hope for Richarlison. That's exactly why our attack will be better. Son was playing in a role that's bad for him and was carrying an injury, Kulu lost all confidence after getting dropped, Richarlison was playing out of position. The only functioning part of our attack was Kane. If we keep the ball, play creative players, drop players who are out of form / bad fit, then our attack will be easily superior.
Let's talk numbers. Harry scored 30 goals from an xG of around 21, huge overperformance. Richy with his movement should at least match Harry's xG playing at the focal point of our attack, but obviously his finishing isn't as good, so let's say he underperforms and scores 15. Do you think we can't increase our goals scored by more than 15 playing dynamic attacking football with players like Maddison and Lo Celso?
I'd say Rodon would be the more likely exit..... He must be sick of the sight of the place by now. Plus has the better CV (and from our perspective isn't fully HG).
You really need to ask?Why is it so difficult to sign a young decent Dutch centre back from a midtable German club who our manager has wanted all summer and who has already visited our training ground and agreed personal terms which happened over a month ago

If Son declined Ange can drop him, the problem was Conte constantly playing him despite Son moving like a zombie.I admire your optimism. But I think it's misplaced. I think Son has just declined and people have too much hope for Richarlison.
All I believe is that one week from the beginning of the new season it's unacceptable we still don't have a decent central defender to partner Romero.
So you think it could be that Levy tried to use Tapsoba as a smokescreen to force Wolfsburg into selling VdV.......well it might have backfired because if Wolfsburg were led to believe we were after Tapsoba, a superior defender and more expensive, then they probably thought " wait, if Spurs are chasing Tapsoba it means they have more money than they claim. I know, forget about that 30 mill we have already agreed with Spurs for VdV, let's squeeze more out of them"
We chose the wrong smokescreen![]()
