A 100m fee could be one payment of 100m or it could mean 10 annual payments of 10m, which is a far worse offer due to the time value of money.
Whether you think he's gonna be successful or not, we just spent £60m for him, he's not exactly put himself in the shop window with the about 30 mins of football Conte gave him last season. Give him a fucking chance to show what he can do in an attacking system,he deserves at least next season before you can make a definitive statement on whether he will make it as a top 4 PL forward or not. Yes, he was shit last season, playing largely off the wing, but Angeball so far looks like it can be very conducive indeed to his style of play. If he can dial it in more with beating the offside trap he could be fucking mustard.
