They aren't over a barrel, they have given US the deadline and they made their offer. They want Kane but it's not seriously going to damage them if they don't get him. Whereas Kane walks away for free when we could have used that money to rebuild the side, that is really going to damage us.

I'd obviously prefer Kane to stay forever but it's not like he's 24. We've had him in the first team for 9 years. Bayern is a good move for him (will be the biggest star in the Bundesliga and for a proper commercial juggernaut with real history of success) and will not taint his reputation with us.

What's clear to me after following this one closely is that the German media are connected, but in the way that marionettes are 'connected' to their puppeteer.

They are 'leaked' information consistently, but say things purely for agenda and to affect 'media pressure'. It seems they constantly have information, but shockingly it's somehow exactly the information that Bayern Munich wants them to have, framed in the exact way Bayern wants them to frame it.

My conclusion too.

But I think further discussions to increase the up front component, and making sure the total goes over £100m.

Might prolong things by 24 hours, but that can be done

Palace have lost Zaha and Woy was complaining about squad size. Olise going isn't in their hands so I'd be surprised if they parted with Eze. That said, his agent is CAA Base and will have one year on his contract next summer which is absolute catnip to Levy.

I am sorry this is one of the craziest takes I have seen from you. Richarlison will be lucky to hit double figures playing every week. We need Kane or a replacement. The fact is I advocated selling Richarlison this summer because we are never getting our money back on him.
