Why am I immediately thinking of this:
Phil_silvers_as_bilko.JPG

???
I remember a Silvers interview where he said that Doberman thought he was the real star of the show and also was a ladies man who didn't look like him in real life!

Bullet points:

GK:
Raya
...... Also keeping an eye on Mamardashvili & Maignan.

CB:

Want: LCB and RCB.... Deadwood still the problem it was for the prev. 2 summers (shifting wages!). More hopeful than prev. tho as contracts are dwindling now. Can't imagine all 4 (ED, DS, JT, JR) going in one window though.

Eyes on: Geuyhi (Fave.... Big money, lots of competition tho), Killman, Laporte (Barca keen tho), Sutalo, Ibanez, Tapsoba, Torres (Villa?), Ibani (who?), Bremer............. Lenglet............. CCV (Celtic/Ange connection). Will also check out Dorrington & Paskotsi from academy.

FB:
Sess
(impress Ange or sell) & Spence (impress Ange or loan).

MF/attack:
Want 1 x 8/10 hybrid and 1 x 'young' winger..... Maddison, Alex Scott, Gallagher, Barnes.

He also thinks "Mason's Mates" (tm) = clown-talk. 🤡

....That's 90mins I won't get back!!!! :ange-bored2:
8/10 Hybrid!!??
:andros: :roseunsure:

This forum would self-implode if we signed Lenglet and Carter-Vickers!!!

Well at least me!

Alasdair Gold has revealed in his latest column on Football.London that Ange Postecoglou is expected to take a ‘good look’ at Tanguy Ndombele during pre-season before making a decision on his future.

The journalist states that Napoli have shown interest in signing Ndombele again following the conclusion of his loan spell at the club while Fenerbahce are also prepared to offer the midfielder a route out of Tottenham.

Tanguy Ndombele

The journalist explains that Spurs would struggle to get anywhere near the fee they paid for the Frenchman back in 2019 and their current plan is not to definitely sell him.

Instead, Postecoglou will assess the 26-year-old and his fit for his system before making a final decision on his future.

Tanguy Ndombele will be given a chance at Spurs
Gold adds that while there has always been some hope within Tottenham that Ndombele will eventually come good, he points out that the former Lyon man would have to buy into the relentless, high-intensity style of play favoured by Postecoglou to rescue his career in North London.

The journalist adds that, unlike Ndombele, neither Giovani Lo Celso nor Harry Winks are expected to have a future at Spurs, with the former said to be attracting interest from Villarreal and Aston Villa.

Spurs Web Opinion

While Postecoglou will like Ndombele’s courage on the ball and his press-resistant nature, I suspect the Frenchman would struggle to fulfil the sort of intensity that the Australian will demand out of possession, which is why I expect the 26-year-old to follow Lo Celso and Winks out of the door this summer.

That metric was most saves out of all keepers in the league!

One thing's for sure, Hugo didn't

He was the in the OPTS stat team of the season ahead of Alisson, great shot stopping and distribution as well as home grown. Could fix our GK area for the next 5-10 seasons, only other keepers like that might be for sale like Diogo Costa would be out of our price range anyway. A top draw goalie means we can forget about that position for years to come. We miss this just seems like a big regret when the keeper we do buy is not as good.

Have we signed anyone yet? Or do we just keep reposting clickbait articles about Maddison, Raya, Ibanez, Nelsson and Ndombele then crying about how ambitious Woolwich are?
