We paid money for Nkoudou and took a loss on him.

If Solomon is useless he'll be on loan in January and sold next summer for pure profit.

It's a little gross that Spurs will be stealing value that Shakhtar Donetsk by all rights deserve amid the crisis in their country and region, but it's a no-brainer as a punt.

This is the season when our luck changes. It has to at some point. Seriously though,in all the years I’ve supported Tottenham I’ve never ever felt like we get our fair share of it! I suppose every fan apart from Man Utd say that.

It’s not an overnight thing and I’m confident Ange will create that close knit dressing room but winning alot of games does that.

Since we won’t agree on the size of squad we can meet in between and go 22 and midget.

Nobody has said the length of contract Manor Solomon is coming on - it could be a one season loan, and if that, it allows us to consider other (better) options next summer.

Fairer on Shakhtar as well - with the friendly being a mix of a loan fee and a fund raise for Ukraine.

I guess we find out next week if a loan or permanent.

We already have Kane, Son, Kulusevski, Richarlison, Maddison and Gil in attack. We were never going to spend big on another attacker. Solomon will round out the attacking options nicely. If he does flop, then he was free so it won't hurt us the way that Richarlison and Gil have.

I'm not aware of anyone that agrees..... No big clubs or managers anyway.
