On the bright side, he barely played as a winger last season. He’s capable still. I have zero faith in Gill honestly. His only real value is that he’s still young and could improve. Paratici made the worst transfer ever by giving Lamela and 25M for him.
Gil has great football intelligence which is hard to train into a player, he needs to fill out his frame and gain some dynamism, he is too easily bullied off the ball in the PL and not an especially gifted dribbler from what I've seen but if he gets stronger and a bit bigger it could completely change him as a player. We paid 25+Lamela for that potential, just a question of it panning out (or not).

I couldn't give a fuck if he was Jewish , being in Israel a few times and 99.99% of the population don't give a monkeys about Spurs , all glory boys loving Franco's Madrid, Nazi Chavs , Arab PSG and anyone that can win a trophy. Most of them haven't even heard of us .
Personally this sort of squad cheap punt sign-in rarely works and just packs the squad with mainly miss players , rarely a hit .
Madison was a triumph but this sort of signing is why we can't offload players in the future or win fuck all.

Well, given that none of our ITK knew anything about Vicario and Solomon; I'd take a guess that we cannot really be sure what the club is working on behind the scenes.
I'd expect outgoings of Sanchez and Perisic to be wrapped up b4 the pre season tour; and hopefully a new CB in.
The challenge that the club and Ange has is to establish if Kane, Romero, RIcharlison and Hojbjerg want to be part of this new project.

If we get Tapsoba and VDV then that would be a great window. I doubt we will get both though but we should try. I’m pretty sure we’ll see quite a few go and there will be a freshness to it all. Regarding the Solomon signing he is such an Ange style winger. I think a lot on here think he might just be a back up but I wouldn’t be surprised to see him start left of the 3 up top. Saw him play against Scotland a few times and he was outstanding. Had an injury which disrupted his season last season. Everyone wants big names that is a statement signing but there’s loads of players and that just need that opportunity at a big club to show how good they are. Solomon will show he is better than the likes of Mudryk,Anthony and Sancho.
Oh god, imagine. He’s an opportunistic signing we are bringing in because he’s free and happy to sit on the bench. He might get the odd goal but I suspect that’s it. If the manager is on board then fine but if he’s another club signing the manager is going to be forced to integrate then it isn’t.
