I'm not a big fan personally.

I'm not 100% convinced of its credibility, but maybe Spurs (like all other clubs) have been sounding out potential CB's and finding not too many CB's likely to move and all top clubs circling so we might get one good CB but not two - hence Lenglet.

If the above is true, he may be as good as any other alternative. Sadly

And we tried the younger with upside under Conte - Spence - which didn't go well !
He's fucked off now so hopefully whoever comes in actually gives him and others a chance.

There's not much defending this if it's true I'm afraid. Bringing in a guy who'll soon be 28, commands high wages and isn't a suitable starting level player. Probably 50 players out there we could bring in that would be a smarter move than this.

Bet if I wrote an article saying that Kane has agreed terms with Middlesbrough half of our fanbase would actually believe it.

See what Romero does and how much he truly loves us when Chelsea/Liverpool/Barca come in for him
Sad John Cena GIF

Yeah. Greaaaaat source that.
PS: They not the only source.

Sure, Spurs is on top of Mount's wish list of clubs should he leave Chelski :D

TOTTENHAM fans have mocked reports of their club being interested in Chelsea star Mason Mount.

Mount, 24, is no closer to agreeing a new deal to commit his long-term future to the Blues.

And he has been linked with a host of Europe's top clubs including Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Woolwich and Manchester United.

But according to The Athletic, Tottenham are the latest team to emerge as an interested party.

Spurs are understood to have been monitoring the England man since last summer.

Except it is, all of those four "sources" you cite are just recycling the Sport story.

No wonder we have so many poorly informed fans drowning in a frenzy of bullshit and malicious rumours....... No ability to filter what-so-ever.

I'm not sure how credible the source is, so may not be true.

Lenglet has been 'ok' rather than great, but at 14m might be 'sensible' purchase for the squad if his wages are not outrageous, as the number of big clubs circling the likes of Ndicka means our chances of landing 2 top CB's is vanishingly small. We will be lucky to get one good CB this summer. Sadly

If this is true then we may as well dissolve the club. He is shit. Why are we buying players that we already know are shit?

Please god let this be a wind-up.
