Found our Dier replacement.

If I am reading the stats right, he is statistically outperforming Gvardiol this season in a worse team (Gladbach), but is flying a bit under the radar.

Could be a steal. He's been on the books at City as well so he is well schooled in football. And he is a CAA Base client, an agency that we do a lot of business with.

Good player, definitely. He's got pace, he's brave...already two things Dier isn't.

But already 26 and still a bit raw at the top level...he's played circa 60 games in the Eredivisie (for lowly Groningen) and another 20 in the Bundesliga with Gladbach this season. His time at Schalke they were in the second tier.

Give him me for say 10-15 mil + bonuses and I'm saying that's worth a pop. Might even be a deal to be done where we get him for free in return for Sanchez going the other way. I'd still recruit another two top quality CB, but would defo be happy with that guy coming in as a backup and playing circa 20-25 games in all comps. Knowing he can also play DM/CM...he's got decent passing abilities and can score a few.

Devine on loan makes huge sense. He’s a year younger (Devine Vs Alex Scott), so may have the same level of impact as Scott.

Similarly, Rodon to Swansea for;

Big, big fan of that Nathan Wood kid. If he stays injury-free and keeps his feet on the ground, he's got a great future.

I don't see Rodon keen on going back to Swansea, but we should still try and sign that lad. His contract expires in a year, so Swansea can't be that greedy...10 mil + bonuses is already a solid deal for them. Besides we may be able to sweeten the deal by sending some of our promising talents there on loan.

He & Alex Scott are exactly the type of signings we need to go back to getting done. But then we must give them kids a proper chance in the first team.

If we are after young players with massive potential we should at least throw bids in for Conor Bradley and Shea Charles.

We really don't.

If Kane stays we still have the best player in the league. If he leaves we rebuild around Son and Richarlison up top and a midfield with Bissouma and Bentancur given the lead roles.

We have to invest heavily in defenders and we have to get a coach who changes the pattern of play. We don't have to rip everything up, and the stuff about being the new Everton is complete horseshit.
We are not Everton for fuck sake. Getting bentancur back for September would be great and Biss for pre season. A keeper, and 2 centre backs is a must. If Kane left we need a centre forward that will be a focal point. Probably not an option but Vlahovic fits the bill. Big strong, mobile and can finish. With sonny and richi as back up strikers and fill the creative positions with younger talented clever players then we will be a force quite quickly again.
My only worry is will we have enough money for 6 new players plus the money for Porro and deki. The answer is probably no.

Certainly not Everton. They've only allowed 50 goals this season where Spurs have allowed 57. 4th most in the league.

I'm sure Bentancur and Bissouma will help, but unless we sure up our CBs next season, talking about attackers seems pointless.

If we need 2 CAMs- we really ought to see if Kulu can work there at least part time. We simply will not have the time and money to buy two Prem quality CAMs this summer. Either Maddison or Scott would be awesome since we badly need the homegrown/FA trained players for our roster.

Not sure about Danjuma but he has looked pretty good whenever he has gotten time for us. I'm tentatively on board with keeping him.

Gil no idea- I'd guess he's done with us and will ask for a permanent move. If not I'd love to keep him. Of course still needs to develop his body and finishing instinct, but I can see him being very effective at either LW or RW, and maybe even at CAM too.

If we keep Kane I'm interested in moving on Son while he still has some value. If we lose Kane, I'm interested in seeing Son at ST, maybe splitting time with Richarlison. It does seem crazy though thinking we can simply ride both Son and Kane into the sunset of their careers without eventually suffering a table impacting loss of form (if not already this season).

Son has come around a bit as of late but I still see him as on the decline, and especially since his playmaking is not quite as good as his striking, he seems more replaceable than Kane in the attack, especially in a position where pace, energy and playmaking are all needed in abundance. Great guy and club legend but if hard decisions need to be made, it might be useful for the club to look at it that way.

Defense is a frigging mess. I really hope we can move on Dier. If we don't move to a back 4, I hope we take a look at trying Romero at CCB where he played for Atalanta.

We have so much deadwood to move around yes, but perhaps these are situation in which its better to move around key pieces impeding harmony in the dressing room (or to break up any cliques holding us back) rather than worry about fringe players coming back from loan.

Nailed on to be killing it for Brighton...

Meisler from a desperate, relegated Leeds absolutely stinks of a Levy Club signing. Can smell it a mile off
