He wasn't playing for Parma youth.But he can't run. He can't press and coughs up the ball a lot. Playing somewhere in youth football in Italy is not really a basis for assuming he's going to work in a completely different (high energy) tactical approach in the PL.
Everything we've been told suggests Postecoglou doesn't use 10's, and there's no fucking way Kulusevski has the all round game to play as an 8.
He can press, he is the best presser in our front line bar Richarlison. He also won more tackles last season than anyone in Celtic's front line, so imagine what he could do in a team with a functional press.
I would say, whilst he isn't that quick, he can definitely run and showed that in his first half season with us, but the whole squad looked like plodders last season and I'm putting that to an awful fitness regime.
One of the 8s spends a lot of the time in and around the box (mostly the the sides of it too, rather than central), in fact Kulusevski made many more touches in our own half, than either Celtics 8s did in their own half.
