was listening to the Extra Inch podcast. NathanAClark has some inside info on our new advance analytics department. He can’t share but he says Spurs are diving DEEP into advanced analytics. Tapsoba fits exactly what we need

obviously they are looking at more than this data.

Is a big time ball playing CB by all accounts.

room to improve using his body to win duels byt would be 100m if he already had that.

''Instead, the 29-year-old may now head to French club Paris Saint-Germain. On Monday, French outlet Le Parisien revealed how PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is ‘pushing’ to sign Kane. He wants Kane to replace Kylian Mbappe, who could leave for Real Madrid after revealing he will not extend his contract at the Parc des Princes.''

At least we're being linked with better players now. Tapsoba would be great, him and Pau Torres would he my top two 'realistic' targets. Would have Torres first though, think he's become very underrated.

Don't have a strong take on Mamardashvili.. watched a few games and he looked a good keeper, but they don't really pass the ball out much and I couldn't judge that side of his game. Don't want another keeper that can't play with his feet.

Xavi Simons looks really talented.. I doubt we make that happen, but hope we target that type of player.

Hope we allocate the big spend on a CB player like Tapsoba and then go for a attacking mid like Alex Scott instead of spending big on Maddison and going for a cheaper CB option.

We have to build something and Scott/Tapsoba fit the right age/potential profiles

I hope we spend well in all the positions we need.. everybody around and ahead of us is. These clubs print money. Alex Scott isn't really ready to play serious minutes for a top PL side.. if we're happy enough to not be a top PL side for a few years then fair enough, but that doesn't really add up with hoping Kane signs a new deal.(which is unlikely anyway)

As do I but CB remains out most glaring need imo. I think we have enough attacking pieces to make it work for Ange’s first season. But we need CH reinforcements. I’d personally like to see Devine worked into the first team.

Yeah not sure about that.

It's just morally corrupt, they've just found a loophole which the PL didn't expect, I reckon they'll create some rules now to stop this happening going forward.

I've yet to be convince that CFC & NC haven't ultimately got the same sugar daddies, but as we've seen previously the will to scrutinise just won't be there unless something snacks the powers that be round the face.

Oh come on; it's bogus as fuck.
It’s not though.

Saudi Arabia are in the process of taking over. They’ve completely revolutionised professional golf, to the point that the PGA had to restructure to avoid being left behind.

This is the beginning of the Super League. They will offer absurdly more money to play fewer games, and the next generation of players will go there.

Chavs have jumped on this opportunity to cast off their unwanted players at inflated prices. There’s not a damn thing anyone can do about it.

So, who are the buyers going to be today if not ENIC lite?
Whether they're ENIC lite or ENIC plus, it doesn't really matter. What we will be able to spend will be determined by the revenue we produce. How much revenue we produce above our baseline (i.e. no Europe) will depend on how well the team performs on the pitch. And how well the team performs on the pitch will depend on how well our football operations are run.

So whether new owners are flush with cash or not, doesn't really make much difference. What will make a difference is how well they can run the football operations. And to a slightly lesser extent how much they can increase commercial revenue, something that the current regime is really good at. If the team is performing well this will help with increasing commercial revenue, but it's not going to happen by itself. Which is why retaining Levy on the commercial side would be a smart move by any buyer, unless they have a Levy of their own.

No chance. Top players arent leaving the prestige of top European leagues to go and play in the desert. It just wont happen.
