Hojbjerg is a perfectly adequate back up/bench player.

Yes he is. But at the same time he is soon 28 and has 2 years left on his contract.
So it is the last moment really to get any kind of money for him, and it would be actually optimal to sell him.

Give 100% of his minutes to Sarr and we are in pretty similar position with additional 30-35 mil EUR to spend on either CB or FW or more creative CM/nr 8.

Levy has been absolutely pathetic in selling players in the right time. Now is chance to change it.

I never understand why people still listen to ITK on that place

It sort of made sense back in the early internet days, as it was a bit of a fun mystery. But now every reputable journalist is free on Twitter and transfer news is absolutely everywhere, so who even needs it anymore?

It's bizzare that people still religiously follow these ITKs, or worse, feel the need to donate actual money.

Agree that 95% of it is garbage, but POK gives out bits of information before professional reporters quite regularly.

We've had form for this for years, as a fan base.

Remember John Pratt? He was the go to scapegoat for years. Spider was another who's face didn't fit.

Incidentally, I played against Spider when he dropped down to the semi pro leagues at St Alban's. He was head and shoulders the best player on the pitch, lovely bloke too.

Just goes to show the gulf in class from those who "nearly made it" to those who did, however briefly.
Spider ?

It's astonishing how quickly people forget their history as soon as they come into money.
Ancient history.

This century, prior to the ownership change, they had as many relegations (2) as top 4 finishes. And those top 4 finishes were in 02 and 03.

Since 2007, more relegations (2) than top 9 finishes (1).

For everyone 25 years and under, which is probably 30ish% of the viewer base, they are not a big club.

Their last top flight title was in 1926! Sunderland and Sheffield Wednesday have as many or more titles and both more recent than 1926. Are they big clubs? No. Historically significant? Sure.

People always talk about who IS a big club. Not who was historically a big club. No one cares what the club accomplished decades ago when we are talking about how that club is in the current day.

I know Lenglet is not good enough but CCV may have improved a lot in Scotland.
Spoke to a few celtic fans about this when Ange was first appointed. Apparently his passing has improved massively (save for the YouTube of him twatting the ball straight into touch). They say he’s the best passer at the club. Doesn’t fuck about when defending either and rarely looks like he is under any pressure, with the caveat that he very rarely is.

When I mentioned taking him back, they wouldn’t want to lose him, but did snigger at the thought of him playing weekly at our level.
