They have a lower net spend I believe?

At least in recent years.
My point.
There’s a massive FSG out movement online. Don’t really understand it given their recent success and how much better FSG have been than their previous owners, Hicks and Gillett. It’s pretty amusing really to see the proud socialists twerking for a nation state sugar daddy but a reminder as to how fickle football fans are.

If this goes through, you'd have to think Tapsoba is off the table in terms of leaving.

Woolwich are on a massive drive to win. ENIC getting left behind.

Thats the thing, you can quite like what we've done but still think its not going to be anywhere near enough. We dont operate in a vacumn. We finished 8th last season and others seem to be improving as much if not comfortably more than we are. Without wishing to start another tedious argument its just all outgrown our owners

So in what order would you rate our CBs?
Romero....pfft
Dier
Royal
Davies
Rodon
Sanchez
Tanganga

Tapsoba has 3 years on his contract, they will be asking north of 50m.

We've never done x2 40-50m players in one window have we?

We didn't last summer.

Club's transfer model also has one big link every window that doesn't get done. To me they come off as marketing links more than serious links.

Probably Tapsoba goes for 50m to Liverpool later in the window.

That is the difference between FSG and ENIC.
You're talking bollocks. Liverpool have only once spent >£40M on 2 players in the same window. Alisson and Keita...and Keita just left on a free.

It's not something that's commonly done outside of doping clubs, even United has only done it twice.

There werent any. I didnt say there were. There were rumours other EPL clubs had enquired about Raya. If ita true I dont know. If you didnt understand and I wasn't clear, "I believe it better to sign a 40 million tried and tested EPL keeper, than to sign a 19 million keeper that hasn't played in the EPL."

Now your turn. If Vicario is such a brilliant buy, where there any other bids on him at a mere 19 million?
it would make sense to see the keeper we chose play before writing him off FFS

I don't want Lenglet and I don't think we'll sign him but I see no reason why being in a high line would be his issue. We played a high line with Vertonghen and he was really slow on the turn. Being on the front foot however and having a centre back in Toby next to him to mop up, helped tremendously.

It's everything else with Lenglet. Not his pace.

we witnessed Lenglet get left for dust in the penalty area, God help us near the half way line lol.
