Our HG situation hasn't worsened since last season so not really applicable for the time being.

So far:

Llorus, Lucas, Lenglet, Danjuma, Winks gone.

+ Sanchez, PEH likely gone soon.

Vic, Maddison and Solomon in.

We could currently slot 2 foreign CBs in without issue.

Not really. Some transfers take time. For all the talk weeks ago about woolwich having signed Rice, I don't even think that's done yet. Same with numerous other expected transfers for other players / clubs. It's a total fabrication that we take forever to finalise transfers while everyone else does them very quickly. The truth of course is that all clubs have a mixture of transfer completed very quickly and transfers that take a long time (and in some cases never happen), and everything in between. It would be great if we have any new CBs in place before the tour, but it's not remotely surprising that we probably won't have, and it's not out of keeping with what other clubs do.

In general people tend to rate Nicolo Barella and his best traits are his lungs, heart and ability to quickly get up the pitch and join the attackers on the counter. Conor Gallagher is same type of player, he's just a little less sound with the ball at his feet especially when things get a bit congested. Utilised the right way he could be a very influential EPL midfielder.

Sure, he didn't have the best season with Chelsea but no one there really had. A bit odd though if they sell both him and Mount, cos I would have thought they were the perfect Poch players

So we are going on tour without one of the most important positions sorted. Great we got all these other transfers done especially the keeper and I do realise if it was VDV he may not be able to go on the tour because he would not back from holiday because of the Euro U21 Tournament. Just worry that the hold up is that we have to get players out the door first.

Two of them went on a free and the others for nominal amounts.
Eriksen 20 - 25m iirc, and Levy only sold him when there was 6 months left on the contract after trying continuously to get him to stay.****

But, apparently, Levy wants too much money for players.🤷🤷🤷
