For next season we will have a new manager and new coaches. We will play a different formation and be using different tactics. I reckon it’s a learning curve for all players at the club , old and new. That’s why it is very important that we get the new boys in a.s.a.p in order for them to gel and adapt as soon as possible.
2 new starters in a.t.m . The new keeper needs to blend with his defenders esp the centrebacks and the centrebacks in question need to form a partnership themselves. Getting new players in is essential a.s.a.p

I think we'll sign a new starting centre back before the season starts mate.

I don't believe that players need a pre-season and a tour to be able to bed in. How did that work out for the likes of Ndombele?

I do believe that players from the top top leagues of European football can come in and succeed here if they have the right application and suit the system at hand. Doesn't matter if they're signed in May, June, July or August.

Tapsoba is a quick aggressive centre back with elite ball playing ability. All the things we need at centre back to succeed.

It’s not a tribute to George Graham. It’s just George Graham.
I’ve made the point several times before:
It’s for those that think trophies are everything. George Graham DID win more trophies at Spurs that Poch , BMJ and Harry combined. Maybe winning trophies isn’t everything?

There was an increasing talking up of Woolwich last year — how they’ve been doing things right despite the undeniable fact that they’ve gone backwards under their current ownership. People who want Woolwich to win thinking it’s going to hurt Danny so much he sells up I We even have out very own Saka Fanboy — the only person who watches the EPL that thought Saka was POTY. So I’m trying to make them feel at home.

I’ll probably change it later this month. I don’t suppose the Admin will let me have ‘Los BellCamp’.
That’s a pretty shit reason to plaster that wankers name all over a spurs forum

Levy is watching the season ticket sales and responds when he has to.

No ambition for the football club.

I pity those who have renewed believing in 'the project'.

Ange is a good appointment.

I like the Maddison signing for him.

I'm on board for the project being fun but doesn't mean Levy gets a pass.

We all know what he's like, some are just in denial.

Ange might just make it fun to watch.

Eh?

You don't think it's a good idea to bring in a new player in a much needed position as soon as possible?

Bloody hell.

:mourcheeks:
It's a good idea certainly. Imperative it's not though.

It's definitely a good idea, in that it would help to integrate the players into the squad that much sooner, as they'll be together all day every day they're out there.

However, the pre season tours are PR and warm up, the serious work starts after they return. That is when it's imperative to have these players in place.

FWIW, I do think that we should have at least one of them in by now, just because it's the better idea. As far as I am concerned, if VDV has been identified as one of our top 2 picks then he should already be here. The money is fair, the personal terms are agreed, so it should have happened regardless of the Tapsoba negotiations. We need 2, we've identified 2. Land one then worry about the other.

I know nothing about how advanced the talks are though, so no point losing any sleep over unsubstantiated twitter guff.

Well it's only going to be fun to watch if we win, if we lose games that we should have won, it will get old fast for most people.

If you can’t defend, you lose points you should win.

We did it really often last season, remember?

What games, that spring to your mind, did we deserve to win last year but didn't?

What I remember from last season was mundane performances where we would win because we simply had a better team than most of the league and I can name you plenty of games where we didn't deserve to win at all but ended up winning.

Again, clarify.

Does the poster mean we dominate games, deserve to win but don't which apparently would get old (Not sure how?) - I don't remember many, if any, games like this last season.

Or does the poster mean we lose to teams like Luton at home, i.e we lose games that on paper we should win (Which yes, would get old) - I can name plenty.
