Aurier, Biss, Bentancur also sat outside of the previously cited 18-23 bracket when we signed them..... And were 'now' signings (not future punts).

There is just so much revisionism.

Watch the goalposts move now from 'us not buying established players' to 'us not buying good established players that we have definitive proof the manager wanted, that wasn't playing for previous clubs they managed'

Yeah, agreed.

Sarr looks ready to play. More so than Skipp. TBH Devine looked a better fit than Skipp yesterday, unless Skipp is ok to play the 6.

Yeh, I see Skipp as a back-up 6. Which is fine.... We need that anyway.

Maybe next season we could shop for a beast DM and move Biss into a #8 position though.... I want to see him playing more vertically; box 2 box.

Nope. Been there and done that. (Champo wouldn't be worthwhile either)

GLC, Ndombele, PEH, Devine (loan) should be the potential out list at CM.
I'd keep GLC for now.

Bissouma/Sarr/Skipp for the 6 role
Bentancur/Ndombele/Sarr for one of the 8 roles (Sarr can definitely play both)
Maddison and GLC for the advanced 8

We don't need Gallagher, £40m that can go on something a lot more important.

In terms of the list I made:

"GLC, Ndombele, PEH, Devine (loan) should be the potential out list at CM."

So long as Ange decides; I don't care who gets to stay. He knows what he needs best.....

.. Slight tangent, but, do hone transfer policy now has an eye on mid term not just next season..
So to be club trained that's 3 years at the club (not loaned, right) before you turn 21. So yeah, that makes a lot of sense.
And Dorrington been here 3 years already? So we could loan him out for his development? (Id rather us get good loan for both, would even be worth hit if between Dorrington, Moore, devine, etc we feel we have club trained covered..)
.. Back on track..
Like ange said, we need CBs, let's get it done!

Yes, Dorrington is club trained so a loan and regular football would do him good

Agree with this though if GLC goes we will def need someone to step in as a Maddison understudy.

There is a limit of 25 players in a squad (2 per position, a 3rd GK and 2 others) so, if playing a 433, 6 or 7 midfield players in total.

You have 8.
