'Always have contingencies' - Postecoglou asked if he expects Harry Kane to stay
Ange Postecoglou has said that while he is hopeful Harry Kane will remain at Tottenham, he admitted that he has already planned for contingencies in...
“I don’t try to predict. You always have contingencies in your head, not just about Harry but about any player, because, knock on wood, someone could get injured on the eve of the season and you’ve got to be ready as a manager for all possibilities.
“It’s one of the attractions of the role I guess, to be able to work with people like Harry and Sonny and the guys who are already premier footballers in their own right but also for the club. Hopefully, I get to work with Harry a lot longer.”

The fact that Bayern are seemingly not pursuing any other alternatives suggests that they are confident that a deal for Kane can be agreed.
It now simply appears o be a case of the German club making the sort of offer that Levy would deem acceptable.
I would not be surprised if we see a repeat of the Bale saga, with Spurs first bringing in several new signings before announcing Kane’s sale.
