Now said he wants Kane situation sorted quickly.
Any idea that he's Levy's yes man just went straight out the window.
The pressure release of sacking Conte and going straight back to the bad habits is clearly a busted flush for Levy now.
If he does what he usually does, this could go south quick.
There is a lot between the hope that we sign a centre back of quality anf the reality.
Sometimes it is as simple as the selling club needing to find a replacement or as complex as significant contractual issues or differences in valuation.
It's clear we want/are after one,, if not two centre backs.
It's also 100% correct that failure in this regard will be met with rage and fury, so patience and perspective yes, but it needs a reward.

They will buy a CB.
Will they buy a good enough CB. Will they buy 2 good CBs?
Or will they try a cheap fix for at least one spot in the squad like they did with Lenglet last summer?

Pretty decent. That sort of signing a club like Spurs SHOULD be making. And the calibre of player we SHOULD be targeting. On a regular basis. Not just pouncing on the reduced fee caused by the selling clubs relegation.

Yeah they're making high upside signings with very little PL experience.
They finished 1 point above us last season. One of the worst seasons we've had in the last decade. The talk like they're miles ahead of us is crazy.
