Maybe VDV at best

Please remind us what "level" we were at before they arrived to "pull us down to their level"?
Funny; cos I distinctly remember you saying you'd taken 10-20 (maybe more?) "years off".... Before eventually starting to follow Spurs again around the same time that you joined TFC. (Perhaps this is why you find yourself making ignorant statements such as the one above?)
Post bollocks >>> Get patronised.
Seems fair enough really.
The point the posters countering the negativity are making is not that everything is rosy. It's that it's not as shit as Les Miserables are making it out to be. The issue with Les Miserables is that, if you don't agree with their negative attitude, you're a happy clapper. Just as if you counter some ott claim about ENIC, you're a Levy cocksucker. It's black or white. No fucking in between. I wonder how some manage to get through life like that.Positivity is annoying when it is baseless. If things are shit and I know they’re shit I don’t want to listen to someone clapping in the corner about how things are actually fine just because they say so.
People last season insisting we could still get top 4 despite everything showing us the team was broken was annoying. Stop insulting everyone’s intelligence! Also annoying is enforcing positivity.
There’s plenty of decent positive posts which I’ve actually agreed with & find interesting. Ones which provide genuinely good justifications for why we might be in for a fun season. Those are great, more of those.
£100m seals the deal for me and rightly so. Let him go to Bayern, pocket a huge fee for an academy player and continue the rebuild. Sign Tapsoba, Van De Ven, Phillips, Veiga and the striker Ange wants and just look to the future and a season of change.
And getting the wrong players or significantly overpaying just to not drop a few points at the start of a season that is a rebuilding one doesn't sound like a top strategy either. No season should ever be a ‘write off’. And accepting losing early games due to doing business poorly is a poor attitude as well.
Nobody expects CL or a trophy next season but we should be aiming to be back in the EL and going deeper in the cups. Since the PL is going to be more competitive than ever dropping dumb points early doesn’t sound like a top strategy to me.
Literally every time there's plenty of time in the window. Not just us. Every team.
Kane out
Lenglet in
Would be a good end to the window
Daddy Ange could cook up some magic this year

No patience whatsoever. You're really expecting top 6? This season is to establish a playing identity that the fans can get behind. Sure, it would be nice to get results too, and that's always the goal, but it's not the end all be all for this season. No season is a write off. Ange plays to win every match.
I think top 6 and a good go at the cups is what we should be aiming for this season (irrespective of whether Kane stays or goes). None of this "It's ok to finish mid-table" bollocks. That's loser talk and doesn't achieve anything. The only way to win football matches is to win football matches.
COYS
When things are bad, no one wants to hear exaggerated negativity either. It’s better to take a realistic view of where we are and look for how we can build back stronger. The excessive negativity is not helpful or realistic. There’s a lot of that on here.Positivity is annoying when it is baseless. If things are shit and I know they’re shit I don’t want to listen to someone clapping in the corner about how things are actually fine just because they say so.

I've stated numerous times the things I think are wrong. But because they're not accompanied by something along the lines of "that fucking cunt Levy is a leech and needs to get his ass handed on a plate" they somehow register as me being positive. Go figure...No i'm comparing people that cant see any good to people that cant see any bad. Yet again your wording is one sided. If you see things that are wrong with the club (and there most definately are) then surely they can be aired on a Spurs message board?
I think there’s a huge section of posters here that see 09/10 through, say, 18/19 as the norm for us rather than outliers. In that period, we only had 1(?) finish outside the top 5. Funny, given how ‘shit’ the last decade or so is supposed to have been.No patience whatsoever. You're really expecting top 6? As I said, tough crowd.

Personally, I’ll be happy to get us back into Europe with one deep cup run and a home win at the NLD.
You're just a happy clapper, bro. You'd be more measured if you threw in a "fuck Levy" rant somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd paragraph.Nailed on.
As it stands we are only 1 good CB away from starting a very good starting XI. Tapsoba for me 100%.
Vicario, Porro, Romero, Tapsoba, Udogie, Bissouma, Lo Celso, Maddison, Kulusevski, Kane, Son.
3 signings needed, 4 if Harry goes but ultimately we are just 1 good signing short of having a very good looking starting XI with many good options from the bench (Royal, Perisic, Ndombele, Solomon, Richarlison etc). We ain't in bad shape at all given where we were a year ago.
Kane is dispensableI'm liking your new found optimism. It's rather infectious.
Here's to binning kane and buying a relatively untested cb from Germany as our marquee signing
