The point the posters countering the negativity are making is not that everything is rosy. It's that it's not as shit as Les Miserables are making it out to be. The issue with Les Miserables is that, if you don't agree with their negative attitude, you're a happy clapper. Just as if you counter some ott claim about ENIC, you're a Levy cocksucker. It's black or white. No fucking in between. I wonder how some manage to get through life like that.

All Bayern rumored offers are much lower at the moment.

Not sure if the Mane sale will help, but so far Bayern hasn't shown to be a serious bidder.

And getting the wrong players or significantly overpaying just to not drop a few points at the start of a season that is a rebuilding one doesn't sound like a top strategy either.

No patience whatsoever. You're really expecting top 6? This season is to establish a playing identity that the fans can get behind. Sure, it would be nice to get results too, and that's always the goal, but it's not the end all be all for this season.

As I said, tough crowd.

When things are bad, no one wants to hear exaggerated negativity either. It’s better to take a realistic view of where we are and look for how we can build back stronger. The excessive negativity is not helpful or realistic. There’s a lot of that on here.

I've stated numerous times the things I think are wrong. But because they're not accompanied by something along the lines of "that fucking cunt Levy is a leech and needs to get his ass handed on a plate" they somehow register as me being positive. Go figure...

I think there’s a huge section of posters here that see 09/10 through, say, 18/19 as the norm for us rather than outliers. In that period, we only had 1(?) finish outside the top 5. Funny, given how ‘shit’ the last decade or so is supposed to have been.
Personally, I’ll be happy to get us back into Europe with one deep cup run and a home win at the NLD.

Vicario, Porro, Romero, Tapsoba, Udogie, Bissouma, Lo Celso, Maddison, Kulusevski, Kane, Son.

3 signings needed, 4 if Harry goes but ultimately we are just 1 good signing short of having a very good looking starting XI with many good options from the bench (Royal, Perisic, Ndombele, Solomon, Richarlison etc). We ain't in bad shape at all given where we were a year ago.
