They've mismanaged the last 4-5 years, that's not in question. There are still some of us that hope they're in the process of correcting that, and are holding off judgement until we see whether the hope is correct or you are indeed correct.

But every time this argument comes up, the perceived faults are exaggerated in the extreme.

I don’t think we’ll sign him so it’s not all that relevant, but it would be a shockingly poor transfer if we did. He’s proven to not be very good.

I happened to watch all of our games last season - he didn't look good in Conte's system - none of our players offered any defensive stability last season and there were numerous reasons for that. From how deep we were being asked to play, to our lack of consistent press to us being constantly overrun in midfield.

I think we both agree, however it is a transfer that is unlikely to happen

He also didn't look good in Barcelona's system. He's just not a good defender.

I think if we can get any kind of cash back for GLC or Tanguay we should be taking it, mad to think they were signed under Poch and they are still on the payroll now
