Just wondering, doesn't anyone have any real ideas or insight into why this CB stuff is taking so long outside of ENIC doesn't care, sabotage, bald cunt, tight, cheap etc.

I know it's hard, but humour me and try to be objective for 5 mins.

The whole world and their dog knows we need at LEAST 2 new CBs. We know for a fact we are trying to get them in and we clearly have some money to spend on one.

What else could be the hold-up? Why haven't we pulled the trigger or a target? Could there be a conceivable reason outside of Levy being a cunt?

I was never an 'Arry lover BUT he turned us around in a really short time and had us playing some really good football. He also managed to get us into the CL, should've been twice if Bayern hadn't bottled it in 2012. Cunts.

Could also have been twice if HR wasn't twerking at the FA and spending his weekdays in court whilst we were sat comfortably in 3rd.

HR's spell was good times on the terraces, but it should never have come down to that CL final.

Ultimately this CB purchase has to be great, he can't be decent with potential or another stopgap. He has to be transformative, he has to fix arguably the worst defense in the Premier League. If I seem harsh it's because our situation is harsh, our defense is horrific and it needs an amazing defender to come in and elevate it.

And there are way too many excuses and framings for Van de Ven in your posts. Rhetorically I don't want my centre half to 'have a good profile with some shortcomings'. I want to know he's going to get the bloody job done. If he was the guy, he'd be the guy, we wouldn't have to squint and rotate and frame and ameliorate to make him seem better.

My guess? They're going to see how much they can get for Kane + our various deadwood, and if they can get the top end of their estimation they'll go for Tapsoba.

waiting for Kane money?

still negotiating outside investment or stadium naming rights that migh impact money available for sales?

Maybe they are skint and need to sell before they can buy?

No one knows outside the boardroom mate. Since Toby and Jan left club has bought in Sanchez, Rodon, Romero and Lenglet on loan. Whole thing is just a comedy at this point.

Funny thing is VDV was considered cheap option of Tapsoba now they are trying to get Tosin which is cheaper then VDV. It is what it is

I enjoyed Teddy, but he's not Spurs..... Pisses me off when Levy or Sky rolls him & Berbatov out amongst our legends.

We're his 3rd fave club at best.
