Merely pointed out he's come up small in big moments (not a contentious point as the record speaks for itself) and that he bears his own share of the blame for the lack of trophies. Then you waded in with a series of excuses, starting with the complete fallacy that he's not played with other top attacking talent despite being 1/2 of the most prodigious goal scoring duo in PL history.

I get that he's your choosen namesake and all, but facts are facts.

Grand Theft Auto. I haven't played in many years so your mileage may vary depending on the version.

It's not what you would call a major part of the game but during your quests, for a few dollars you can invite ladies of the night into your car to test the suspension.

It took about 0.5 seconds after release for young men to realise that once that part is done, rather than seeing said women safely home you could beat her to death and take your money back.

I said something similar. There is no way JN would have stood for this shit. Also he would probably have a better idea of the German market than Ange. For all his wealth of knowledge of the Asian market and players not seen any links to players his recommended. In fact he seems happy with davies.

Either with money to partially rebuild (no amount will totally rebuild) or with none, that's the choice.

He's a fucking legend and I would be happy to be a volunteer Bayern fan in the CL next season if the club can transition to the next stage.

Can you imagine him wearing anyone else's shirt in the PL?
 
There’s a reason Bayern are seen as insufferable cunts much like United are here. They still act like them in 2004 taking whoever they want. Dealing with Levy isn’t the same as bullying other German teams to give them their best players or run down their contracts.

Regardless it’s another summer of disruption that’s stalled our rebuild again so close to the start of the season. My bigger issue is that the usual suspects haven’t been moved on and we’re glacially slow again in bringing in who we need. If anything, clubs will rightfully try and rinse us when we done calling. I really hate our board and their approach as much as I hate our fans that run defence for them making excuses.

We have a good squad, just short in the areas we all know and are tying to strengthen but this one in and one out model, publicly selling our best ever player leaves a sour taste.

The day we get proper owners with ambition for on pitch success and not property developers using us to make them rich will be a happy day.

The miser will drag this out another 4.5 weeks in order to try and glean an extra £10M and be absolutely certain it’s the right thing to do (not realising the negative impact it has on the club, distraction for manager and lack of focus for buying players). Stupid man, never learns

Doubt it. Levy will add loads of late, erroneous clauses such as buyback, first refusal, special relationship etc, this has got a long way to run

It’sclear to everyone now that nothings changed or improved on the football exec team, he’s front and centre still and it’s obvious why other signings and player sales have stopped - the megalomaniac was busy on the tour (god knows why) and is now embroiled in this game of brinksmanship.

I would love to see Ange walk away from this binfire before the season starts. Short term pain for long term gain. Start the season with Mason and tank into a relegation battle and everyone will open their eyes to what these speculative real estate chancers actually are

It’s also funny because anyone who watched those cup finals and big CL matches knows that Kane hardly saw the ball in most of those. I can’t recall him missing gilt edged chances or anything. Usually we came out and gave a dud as a team, due to our midfield being outmatched or Poch being stupidly naive tactically and getting brutalized out wide (see Juve/United/Chelsea cup losses), or because of confounding circumstances like injury (CL final) or Levy inexplicably sacking Mourinho days before a cup final.

I still have nightmares over Son LWB.

Kane did bottle big chances for England in 2018 and 2022 obviously, had his penalty saved on first try at Euro 2021, and that’s on him completely. But the big matches in a Spurs shirt? I blame those losses far more on Poch than I do Kane or any other player.
 
Watching some more of Gift Orban highlights on youtube, while he isn't exactly smooth technically, he does have very good finishing, and can finish with both feet. Probably worth bringing in as a punt.
