I would guess that both negotiations are going on in parallel but with more emphasis on VDV as that one seemed to be going better.
Problem is that unless the club really want to sell Tapsoba we might find his price escalates to a point we really are not keen on paying (lets say £80m+).
So whilst we might push on with Tapsoba we might also need to re-ignite discussions with Tosin, Nelsson or other cheaper options as it looks like we may need to settle for one 'expensive' and one 'less expensive ' ......
