the problem wasnt Just dropping deep though, it was starting on the front foot , getting a couple of goals up and then deciding to sit deep and invite pressure on our shit defence, it happened to much to be a coincidence, had we kept at teams instead of trying to see games out I reckon we could have had a good chance at finishing top 4 last season!
I see exactly one player who is a genuine improvement to the starting XI in Maddison, 3 youth punts, a decent sideways move at GK, and a nice depth option (feather in Levy's cap for getting Solomon for free tbf).
It looks like great business no one can deny that, however if we Sell Kane now and no new additions come in then thats a bit cheeky from Levy
Maddison is the pick of the transfers so far, but the other players have clear flaws to work on.
We're pushing them towards £100,000,000 for a 30 year old with one year on his contract left.
In fairness I've only watched YouTube clips and am basing that on general consensus here. Hasn't he only had one top flight season?

With Kane leaving that’s a B+ or A- for me, not bad at all… add Tosin OR Gift that’s a solid A. Both would be A+
Doesn't have to be all spent in this window though, I reckon when Kane Goes we might see another CB now and then reassess the squad next few months and make some moves in January.
