I'm not too much in favour of leaking our targets, unless they are well down the line (I still have nightmares of Willian leaving his Spurs medical half way through it), so hopefully this one too far down the line to be highjacked if it is a genuine target
The way they are going about this, it’s like they have never heard of Levy.Bayern to Levy: “we are setting a firm deadline. Get back to us whenever convenient to you.”
He looked seriously average against West Ham.Are THFC really appreciated by Gift Orban though? If not , there is no deal there.
He already knows how Ange plays, he's been playing that way in training now all of pre-season. If he wanted to renew he could've, and saved Ange a massive headache. If he's staying it's to run his contract down.I'm very thorn over how I want the Kane saga to end.
On one hand, he doesn't seem to fit very well in Postecoglu's system, so to sell is the smart move. On the other hand, he's
Not that stupid that he can't learn how Ange wants a striker to play, and do it well. And there is a chance if he stays that he will fall for Anges approach and sign a new contract
But the money, we can start the badly needed rebuild with the Kane money and honestly some of the players rumoured looks pretty interesting. But N'dombele also looked pretty interesting. Is this the time to start trusting Tottenham's recruiting? Probably not.
I don't know.
If he’s willing to go to Bayern, that makes me think he wants a change, any change, and he’s not signing a contract regardless. For close to 100M, it’s an easy decision to sell IMO. If it was 60M yeah perhaps keep him for a final season and hope he does do well and extends but 100M is 1/4 of next years revenue and it will help with a refresh of some exciting playersI'm very thorn over how I want the Kane saga to end.

He knows how Ange wants to play and still keeps lurking in midfield. So he hasn't learned. And he hasn't seen any results. He kept to the box vs Lion City Sailors. Under Conte last season we've had our best start to a PL season ever, yet no renewal, how good should Ange start the season so Kane would consider renewing? The answer is that he wouldn't, and it's just a political leak to keep the fans on his side while he clearly went behind the club's back and met with Bayern. He knows how Ange wants to play and still keeps lurking in midfield. THIS IS NOT FUNNYPeople watching Gift’s video showing 12 goals that probably accounts for 0.001% of the total time he’s spent on the pitch and then coming to a conclusion on exactly the type of player he is.
Probably the same people that look up a players fifa ratings and decide if he’s good or not.
I think it's more about the end of the season than the start. He needs to start hoping he can win a title at Spurs, I think. He kept to the box vs Lion City Sailors. Hello ThornBut as I said. I'm thorn. It's probably best if he goes now. And Spurs can splunk the transfer money on some shit players so we all can be miserable again by Christmas.

The problem is that he could already sign a pre-contract with other teams in January.I think it's more about the end of the season than the start. He needs to start hoping he can win a title at Spurs, I think.

Well yes. He could. The problem is that he could already sign a pre-contract with other teams in January.
Welcome to multi million pound business deals: there is always the threat the buyer will pull out. In fact that is part of the leverage that the buyer has. Levy is an experienced negotiator and i don’t recall a time when he lost a deal from trying to « win ». You might disagree with how he goes about things but I think he always acts with what he feels is in THFC’s interests and that includes getting the best deal possible for the club. He got great fees for Berbatov, Modric and Bale which are the only similar big deals I can remember. It’s not in our best interest if we end up getting nothing because he overplays our hand. Which appears to be a very real prospect.
Is dragging it out to the final days worth the uncertainty for an extra 10m? Or the risk of getting no money?
It’s small time chairman stuff. Levy loves it, loves his reputation as a tough negotiator and revels in it.
And other teams must love sticking it to him when the shoe is on the other foot. And how much good does it actually do the club?
We’ve heard pretty consistent reports about the bids. They don’t seem unfair. If they’re all wrong fine, if they aren’t then well..
