Knowing it could mean that kane doesn't get sold
Knowing it also means all other business is on hold while Danny boy works on his tan

is that legit?
You actually think this is accurate? There’ll be plenty of comments from the usual folk giddily proclaiming this is Bayern getting “Levyed” but in reality this is ridiculous childish nonsense from Levy.
As usual his antics will ultimately just be to satisfy his own ego, and are not in the best interests of Tottenham Hotspur.
Selling Kane and reinvesting in the squad is the ambitious move.
To be fair selling players doesn't effect the Brentford game, as long as we're buying players, those players that are reportedly going to be sold can wait up unitl 1st September. If we don't sell Kane then he'll be playing with Madidison in the attack. We are potentially going into the Brentford game with a much weaker team if Kane leaves and only ONE player sold, it's been an abomination of a window so far.
If you’re referring to Bale, we had Franco Baldini, who was behind all of our business that summer and was the primary reason we got so many deals done so smoothly.Lol "evidence"..... Except last time we made a big sale that's EXACTLY what we did.![]()
Hope it’s not of course. You actually think this is accurate?
Levy has a 9 figure deal going on, but he's blowing it off to get a suntan?
If you’re referring to Bale, we had Franco Baldini, who was behind all of our business that summer and was the primary reason we got so many deals done so smoothly.
It’s more evidence such as when we sold Keane, Berbatov, Modric, Walker that would have me concerned, as well as just 23 years of how Levy operates in the market in general.
I agree with you that Bayern have behaved poorly, but the reality is that Bayern and Kane hold absolutely all the power with this deal, not Daniel Levy.
If it was a case that Kane had 2/3 years on his deal, I would be applauding Levy’s petty tactics, however that is not the reality.
The reality is, the reason Kane is so relaxed and not agitating for the move is because he knows it’s a win win for him. He either a) moves to Bayern this summer or b) if Levys tactics ultimately piss off Bayern to the point they pull out, Kane goes on a free next summer to any club he wants for a huge signing on fee.
Essentially no matter what happens, Spurs are not coming out the better. If Kane does stay for the coming season it’s just prolonging the inevitable, as as usual we haven’t signed anyone that will immediately make us better than last season to the point that we challenge seriously for a trophy. We’re in a rebuilding phase yet again.
It’s in Spurs’ best interest to accept this money from Bayern now, have this saga put to bed, and allow us to continue preparations for the new season. Our new manager has alluded to this.
We are potentially going into the Brentford game with a much weaker team if Kane leaves and only ONE player sold, it's been an abomination of a window so far.
Correct - they either pay up now and get their man or he leaves on a free to another PL club at the end of the season
Yeah, ‘course they don’t mate.

Well it does because there are a host of players who don't want to be there, we know definitely that Perisic and Lloris want out because they said so at the end of the season. Then there is Rodon, Ndombele, Reggie, (GLC who is back up to Maddison), Sanchez, Gil (currently injured) and PEH. That's nine players that don't really want to play for us going into the match with Brentford .To be fair selling players doesn't effect the Brentford game, as long as we're buying players, those players that are reportedly going to be sold can wait up unitl 1st September. If we don't sell Kane then he'll be playing with Madidison in the attack.
I'd like to see another CB come in by then but we could be playing that game with Romero and VDV as CBs.
At this time, Lewis on bail for alleged insider trading charges, why would you talk on the phone or do anything other than talk face to face! Why would Levy need to meet Joe Lewis face to face, surely they just talk on the telephone or whatever?
Lol they don't though.
Lewis could be like Mr Burns in the Simpsons who doesn’t know how to work a telephone because his sneaky subordinate Smithers (Levy) always answers it for him.Why would Levy need to meet Joe Lewis face to face, surely they just talk on the telephone or whatever?
