I seen it suggested earlier in this window.
I've seen dozens of reports in recent weeks alleging that we are trying to sell Sanchez and Rodon and Tanganga but not a one suggesting we are trying to sell Ben or Eric.

Would ward prowse improve us?
Looks like West Ham aren’t spending any of the rice money.
In set pieces maybe, I don't think we're going to sign him though because apparently Ange has spent time persuading Lo Celso that he's important and they want him to stay and be part of the plans going forward, signing JWP would put a dampener on that.

Unless he's playing deeper and in for PEH.

If he’s staying or there’s a decent chance he’s staying then he should play. If he’s going then he should play the last 2mins to wave good bye - and we let those who are taking over from him get the minutes.

depends on what the clause actually said.

It might well have said that if we got CL during his 18 month loan period then it became an obligation - and that is more logical as after 6 months we did get CL,

It would be perverse to have a clause that said if we get CL after 6 months ignore it if we don't get CL after 18 months.

Not really more logical. More logical would be obtaining the financial benefit of CL just prior to an obligation to purchase not 12 months before.

But the loan could be ended either after 6 months or 18 months.

So when writing the loan document, the logic would be that if Spurs got CL (either at 6 months or 18 months) then Spurs should have an obligation to purchase because CL gave Spurs extra money whichever season we got it.
