Net spend so far this window:

Woolwich €230 million
Spurs €68 million

That's counting our Porro and Kulusevski deals, which frankly shouldn't event count.

And there were people in here saying that we should wait until the end of the season to see how close the net spend is...

Remember we have the same revenue as this club and this time last year we had CL football when they didn't and the best striker in the world.

If anyone thinks Levy will ever spend 230m in one window, even after selling Kane, they are deluded.

....Whilst totally ignoring the most pertinent part directly below.

Sorry, Airfixx, just to be clear if you are saying that I'm ignoring the most pertinent part directly below?

Seems like no-one is any wiser, and whether we will bring in any more players is anyone's guess at this point. Le Parisien mentioned Ange saying we'll be bringing in 2 or 3 more, but I've not seen Ange's comments on this - certainly not in recent days, though I do recall him mentioning it before the Veliz and VdV deals. My take is that I can see Levy deciding not to bring in any more players this window unless he sees a bargain and until he trims the squad. I would be more than glad if the club does spend on more useful additions before the window closes.

Not really, the first time he signed a contract to play for Spurs he became a spurs player. If we ended up paying less, then that January window had a lower spend.

Nobody can seriously claim that Bentancur and Kulu were signed for this Ange rebuild.
On loan. Do you also count the Ndombele optional buy fee from Napoli as part of our profits last season? You're not making any sense.

No-one counted Kulu's optional fee in the first place, what is this revisionist bullshit.

What would Ferguson cost?

what are you talking about Ndombele's fee?

And yes, everybody absolutely counted Kulu as a 40m spend the moment he arrived in that january window.
Because Ndombele to Napoli is the same as Kulu to Spurs, he became a Napoli player and they had an optional buy clause. So surely we must count that money in the incomings, if we count the Kulu money in the outgoings. Do you understand why this doesn't make any goddamn sense?

And no they didn't. People didn't even count Porro's fee and that was a fucking obligation. You don't remember people here complaining about Levy getting Conte a player on loan?

If no other striker or at least an attacking player comes in Levy will get dog’s abuse because he would have replaced Kane with an Argentina u20s player
No. He replaced Kane with Richie. The Argentinean bloke is for backup/development. And not even backup. If Richie goes down, Sonny will be the backup with Perišić stepping in at RWF.

And I repeat: we have only one game a week. We need to take our time in identifying the right players. There's no rush to get them all in this summer with the exception perhaps of a quality CB.

We do need an exciting signing before deadline day imo if for nothing else than morale purposes. Things could get very dark and ugly if the team sputters at the start.
