Agreed that some have gone overboard with the praise, but to make definitive statements like you have are just as bad.
Kane, at that age, was being written off as no better than league one level. Son still has those on here saying he's nothing more than pretty good. Haaland you're bang on about though, he's generational.
There's something about this Orban kid though. Ball of clay is a good description, and I can't think of a better manager to mould that ball of clay than AP.

I stand by the comment that he will never be Haaland. What Haaland does on the football pitch is only possible because he’s 6’5” and probably the strongest player in the entire PL, and one of the fastest as well.
Funny enough Conte would’ve loved the schedule we have this year. He’s only good when there’s no Europe as you alluded to.

It's pretty dopey to compare him to Haaland, I really don't see why he needs to be compared to anyone really, let alone one of the top 5 strikers on Earth.

I've seen very little of the kid, but what I have seen leads me to believe that he has a real predator's instincts and, more importantly, he has the desire and application to work at being the best he can be.
If I were to make a comparison, that is where I'd be comparing him to Kane. He might not have the all round Footballing ability that Kane has, but what really elevated Kane was his dedication to being the best he could possibly be.
Another you could potentially compare him to is Ian Wright, who came from non league Football and became a goon legend.
Ask any top pro and they'll tell you that talent is only part of the equation. Application, desire and self belief make up the larger part of getting to the top.
Ndombele is a prime example of how just having talent simply isn't enough.
