For this to be more than a shirt-term sports washing/money pit/vanity project for the Saudis - they’ll need to get TV deals in Europe and North America (maybe parts of “rich” Asia.
Other areas (Phillipine/Africa) just don’t have the wealth to generate billion dollar TV deals. If they don’t, their league isn’t sustainable over the medium to long term - even the Saudis can lose billions for only so long.
They are trying - TBD whether folks tune in.

The coppa America /WC qualification for SA is a fairly good standard and they will play low block teams.

I think Ange is looking at Romero/VDV/Sanchez/New CB plus Davies as a utility player. That's fine IMO. Just as long as the new CB is not Lenglet.
