simon jordan explains it on a talksport clip on youtube. writing it all off over 8 years and shit. getting away with it for now but could hurt them in a couple years time, if no CL and players flop etc. they are actually in profit over the last 2 years due to havertz and other sales theyve done lol.
That’s not a valid comparison. You’re comparing apples to oranges. Dier leaves at the end of the season. You can’t compare the additional four year cost of Schuur.
The rebuild is not going to be delayed because we haven't offloaded them. They'll just train with the U21s. And financially the hit will be the same. So best to try and get some semblance of a fee for them.
Ah, I knew there'd be one I forgot.......
Not holding my breath for a buyer tbh.
Surely some mid-table second division mob would give us £500,000 for him?
His middle name is actually Price.
Needs to be stopped all this shit and follow NFL who have wage cap ls and percentage spend to turnover. Unless they're in the know this is going to happen very soon. Do think as well lower finished clubs at end of season should have first pick of best young player and works the way up the table. Chelsea have a shitty ground as well. Their wage bill must be astronomical.simon jordan explains it on a talksport clip on youtube. writing it all off over 8 years and shit. getting away with it for now but could hurt them in a couple years time, if no CL and players flop etc. they are actually in profit over the last 2 years due to havertz and other sales theyve done lol.
thing is if they are doing dodgy shit with the saudis buying their flops then they are basically cheating and wont get fucked by FFP.
Hahaha
You ignored the salient part here, it was “don’t care about squad size now”, that it will mostly self resolve as replacements come in, and Saudi offers move lower down the quality chains. If the squad is too big:
1) It will breed a toxic atmosphere due to some players not getting (enough) playing time. And that's a fact, which is why the best head-coaches always prefer a "trim" squad.
2) It will affect the wages bill and thus prevent potential signing from signing.
it was kind of stopped. they only getting away with it now cos they aint in europe which is a strange rule. apparently only teams not playing in europe can have players on contracts longer than 5 years.Needs to be stopped all this shit and follow NFL who have wage cap ls and percentage spend to turnover. So if Tanganga's squad place is a hold up for a new CB coming in?
People are getting very wound up by things that are made up.
But you probably already knew that
I am saying that they are the hold up.I've said nothing of the sort.
Eh?
Honestly, can you stop with the repeated "shoe-horn"/strawman jobs. I shan't be answerable for things I've not said.
Every league in the world would have to agree to the same wage capNeeds to be stopped all this shit and follow NFL who have wage cap ls and percentage spend to turnover. Because we are going down the "try to sell them first" route. Paying off their contracts will have the same effect as not selling them. Then why are we waiting to shift players before bringing anyone else?
Ange said that, not me.
