As a Dane, I'm gonna weigh in on this Nuamah guy.

Nuamah is a great talent, BUT we don't need a left winger. We have Son, Salomon and Perisic for that position. If we should go for somebody in Denmark, it should be Roony from FC København. He's a left-footed right winger. However, neither Nuamah or Roony are ready for PL football yet, if you ask me. That being said, I think Nuamah would be the one that is the 'most' ready.

Fun fact: FC Nordsjælland's opponent for last weekend's match, Randers, made a plea to clubs interested in Nuamah that one of them should buy Nuamah before the weekend so they wouldn't have to face him. If one did they would send a case of local beer as a thanks 😂

Isn’t Nuamah also left footed and just as good or better on the Right?

It's the Danish league, not the norwegian, but fair enough that an Aussie wouldn't know that :llorishowudoin:

Not a hipster, but a Dane though so I'll give it a go, although I'm not sure what can be added about the player. What you see in the YT clips holds true imo, in terms of body strength, pace, and dribling for full matches outside highlight packages. Much like with Orban the 30m question is whether it translates from a mid-rank league to the PL, if not else whether his developement will take him there.

More interesting might be the club. They have for many years been a club with relentless focus on a front foot approach based around quick passing and lots of technically gifted players. And haven't been afraid to throw youngsters in at the deep end, and allow them to develop through game time at the highest, by Danish standards, level. Other attacking players coming through the club in recent years off the top of my head are Kudus now at Ajax and linked to Brighton/WH; Adingra who scored on his PL debut for Brighton at the weekend; Damsgaard and Mathias Jensen at Brentford.

If we are in for him, I mainly hope Levy will stop being Levy for a minute. With Ange ball we could do worse than having a working relationship with this club, rather than being written off as the club with a cunt who you cannot make a fair deal with as chairman.

You are aware that NZ and Australia are actually different countries?

He's 5cm taller than Aguero and 8cm taller than Defoe. He's also taller than Robbie Keane, and Gabriel Jesus.

I get what you are saying but he's not a midget. He's unlikely to be a major threat in the air but he's robust and quick with an eye for goal.

Jonathan David is a player many are into and I understand that. He's a real talent and has been excellent at Lille. But he is a 50M+ signing. By comparison David is only an inch taller than Orban, 2 years older and twice the price. And when you draw a line through their careers at Gent, David hit 30 goals in 60 games for them, whilst Orban is 17 from 16 games. Whilst it is fair to say that David has taken the next step in his career, the trajectory Orban is on is arguably more impressive.
Where are you getting those height stats from? He is definitely not 1.78 or at least he doesn’t play like it on the pitch, he looks clearly smaller than that. Taller than Defoe sure but similar height to Aguero

And it’s not even the raw height he literally doesn’t even jump for headers. It’s not something he even engages in most of the time.

Well mate, he is 178cm according to every source on the web including wiki, Trasfermarkt, etc.

Sometimes things like this can be deceiving.

I’ve never ever said that. Show me where I said that.

You never said at all for your past 3 posts..... Kinda th epoint of the my questioning...... The only thing you referenced was the pricetags....... Ergo 2+2=4 on my part........But you were thinking something else..... I wasn't to know.

I just don’t think levy would spend that on potential from the Danish and Belgian leagues. The price of a player means nothing. They could be £100 million and don’t fit into a style or system. I saw the other day there Paredes the Argentinian signed for Roma for 4 million euros. He would be ideal for us so price tags mean fuck all.

So you don't think we'd buy them no matter the cost?

My personal take on what we will see to end this window.

Lloris - gone for free
Davies - If an offer of 10m+ comes it, we will take it.
Dier - If an offer of 10m+ comes it, we will take it.
Reguillon - Sold
Ndombelly - Sold
Hojbjerg - Sold
Tanganga - Loan
Spence - Loan
Gil - Sold

Incomings - Assuming Dier and Davies are sold, we will see Lenglet join and we will loan in a left back. On deadline day we will bring in another forward player on loan.

I think this is going to age poorly.

Lloris - gone for free or a nominal sum.
Davies - stays
Dier - stays
Reguillon - Loan
Ndombelly - Loan
Hojbjerg - Sold?
Tanganga - stays
Spence - Loan
Gil - stays
Dav — sold.

I think that was his joke. That I mixed up Norway with Denmark.

Bloody Swedes, eh?

Anyway I was actually asking about the number 4 defender trying to chase down our new boy but whatever.

Fair enough.

That went further over my head than Harry Kane's penalty cleared the bar against France.

LuckyMe LuckyMe well played friend.

gil is injured so no chance hes getting sold anytime soon. i got a feeling ange is going to love him when hes healthy. he fits this system perfectly.

I just think that’s straight up exaggerated. He didn’t look any taller than 1.75 at best. And the playstyle is what I’m worried about anyways, whether his height is a few cm more or less doesn’t change that glaring issue of him being completely limited to the ground

Thanks mate and you're right it is Yann Bisseck.

Was only two seconds but I just thought he looked like a giant CB who could run fast. We'll see how he goes at Inter I guess.
Apropos of nothing I checked on Nuamah’s latest match and it was actually yesterday, a qualifier for conference league vs a Romanian club from Bucharest.

I also noticed a certain CB on the other team…

Who happened to get a red card. You may also recognize him…

LOL

More talk of Lo Celso heading to Napoli, if both him and Hojbjerg leave then we will need to sign two new midfielders.

I understand that nobody wants our trash players but we are giving ourselves a lot to do this late in the window.

That thumbnail..
